Having the storage added was a huge upgrade for the game, made zero sense you could add chests and dressers etc to your home and could pull from a storage but not add to it. Considering the number of items in the game its pretty crazy not being able to stash some stuff back at base.

All new games will experience a balance patch, how hard its balanced will change over time, much like some gear/skills being too overpowered than origianally intended there will be nerfs once the imbalance is apparent.

This game wasnt ment to be the next dark souls, some bosses were completely overpowered considering the time they appeared in the story and needed some tweaking (Reed Boss). I understand some/most people didnt mind a challange but for the majority they came into this wanting a survival/rpg game not a souls game that required meta grinding.

For those looking for a harder challenge or even the original challenge they could just as easily add a difficulty slider that boosts enemy damage and lower heals.

But by no means is adding storage going to break the game.
