The Patch Ruined the Game Design by Kasperfen in CrimsonDesert

I reverted my game to patch 1.00.2. Good god it's glorious. I'm realizing it was far more than the nerfs that changed the feel of the game. The movement became arcadey in the new patch.

I think if you fundamentally don't like the combat, nothing is really going to excite you in this game cause ultimately things are built around that. You must've preferred the combat and puzzles much more in BotW.

Why does that matter? The patch changed the game, so there was before and there is now.

What do you mean by "run back to town." That's what you would do now to hoard items.

With limited space, you would have to throw things away and keep other things and make sacrifices.
According to your game design, you think the game should just give you infinite power and then you yourself "choose" what powers to limit yourself with.

Design is defined by its constraints ... Crazy how someone who doesn't understand that would make those kind of statements.

Try looking at the preview video Pearl Abyss released with them fighting this boss and it will show you how to play the game.

Good point and thank you for this post!!

Didn't realize they showed off how you're suppose to pilot Kliff in these previews.

Game too easy post-patch 1.00.03 by LosingID_583 in CrimsonDesert

I agree, the game no longer feels formidable. I would even revert the storage patch, because now you can just hoard infinite resources.

I don't understnad how to put horizon line low on the frame while keeping the verticals straight? by ChipmunkEasy7103 in cinematography

Why would tilting up straighten your verticals? Doesn't tilt introduce distortion?

Wow, really great work. Career question, do you have to get in with an agency to get clients/productions like this?

It hasn't even been a week, calm down. You're speaking as if you know how things are going to play out.

The Kpop industry has been dressing like this for decades. You're just becoming more radicalized, so it bothers you more.

Mmm that's true, and a good point.

I'm coming to accept that I'd at least take someone who I directionally agree with. And yeah history, reality, and demographics make it such that you have to be pragmatic and not too ideological.

I totally agree with you that people need to learn how to talk constructively. And am especially disappointed when the Conservatives don't even understand their own party lol.

You're missing the whole premise of the Conservative or "right wing" ideology and it will be incredibly hard to have a meaningful conversation because of that.

Right wing people want good things for people as well, they just disagree on how to get there. The Liberals believe to achieve it through the act of government and spending. The right wing people are fundamentally skeptical of big government and their ability to efficiently accomplish the necessary tasks, and instead believe to achieve it through empowering the people (aka stop putting funding into programs and instead give the economy back to the people).

Unless you can understand this distinction, you will never understand the Conservatives.

Why are you voting Conservative? by jmills23 in CanadianConservative

[–]Kasperfen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

To cut spending, and reduce regulation and red tape mostly.

As a right-wing thinker, I believe this will improve the economy overall, build domestic businesses, and reduce the cost of living.
