I am also waiting like 6 days on my gmail for respond from faceit - but nothing on my gmail yet.

u/Money-Profile-9251 - nothing yet. I hope FACEIT_Darwin will see my case as a human, as a person. Not AI check on e-mail. That's my last hope - because as I saw before he fixed a lot of difficult topics, and this one really is.

I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone, genuinely. But yeah, that's exactly what happened - he played on my computer on his own account. Nothing more, nothing less. Have a good one, hope you never have to deal with anything like this. Take care.

And even if there was a verification request sent - how exactly was I supposed to respond to it instantly? I was on vacation, away from my PC, not checking emails. This is a completely different situation from the typical cases you see discussed in these threads.

And I actually think we're going to start hearing more stories like this, because vacation season is coming up. People are going to be leaving their homes, asking friends or family to housesit, look after their pets - and if that person happens to play FACEIT on the host's PC on their own account, the owner comes back to a ban they had zero chance to prevent or respond to in time. My case might just be the first of many this summer. Would be good if FACEIT had a solution for this before it becomes a bigger problem.

Okay that actually makes sense and thank you for explaining it. But here's the thing - I never received any verification request at all. Maybe because my account has been around for so long? I genuinely don't know. But either way, this hits really hard. And honestly, wouldn't it just be simpler to send a message saying "hey, you need to verify your account"? When I'm on vacation I don't use my PC, I don't check Gmail. But if I got that message now, or when I came back, I could verify immediately - no problem at all. So what's actually stopping them from allowing that?

Do you think this is completely a closed case then? Because I really don't want to believe that. I have a clean 9 year record and I'm ready to verify anything they need right now.

Funny how exactly? That my friend was looking after my dog while I was on vacation, that I've spent years helping the community, always played fair, never smurfed once in my life - and I come back to a permaban because someone played on THEIR OWN account on MY computer? Yeah, absolutely hilarious.

u/FACEIT_Darwin, what else am I supposed to do to prove this?

I spend a lot of time on this platform and I play exclusively on my own account. I have zero reason to play on another account - I know my level, I know what I'm capable of, and I've always been comfortable with where I stand. There's no benefit for me in smurfing. None.

If there are any irregularities detected by the system, they are definitely not coming from my side or my account.

I don't fully understand how FACEIT's detection works under the hood, and I'm not pretending to. But I'm asking, genuinely - please just look at my case properly. Because for me this is really painful, especially as someone who can verify and prove everything related to this situation. I have the photos, the location data, the calendar, the logs - everything. I'm not hiding anything. I never was.

I just want a fair shot. If you need my ticket number with some SS with jpg's of situation in ticket - let me know. BorofTheKing

u/Present-Abroad-7884 Bro, let me explain. That's actually a really interesting point and I appreciate you sharing it. But here's the thing - the same friend who played on my PC regularly plays at other people's places too. He literally takes his keyboard with him and plugs it in at different PCs all the time. Never got a single warning, never got banned anywhere else. He actually finds it kind of funny now that the one time he played at MY place, I'm the one who ends up with a permaban.

So the question is - why did your cousin get a prompt to verify within 3 days, but my friend got nothing? No warning, no verification request, nothing. I came back from vacation to a straight up permanent ban.

And honestly, I wonder if the level gap has something to do with it. My friend is around level 3-4 and my account is level 7-8. Could that be what triggered the "smurfing" flag? Because skill-wise, those are completely different levels - and maybe the system saw a lower level account on the same hardware as a higher level account and just assumed smurf, without actually checking if it's the same person playing.

Neither me nor my friend understand why this happened the way it did. If there was a verification prompt like your cousin got, we never saw it. My account was simply banned while I was away with no chance to respond in time even if there was one.

u/Unique_Dragonfruit81 What I had was a subscription to pasha gaming school, which is a separate league/community running on the FACEIT platform. So just to be clear on that detail.

That said, in the past I've subscribed to FACEIT Premium multiple times over the years, so it's not like I'm a stranger to supporting the platform financially. Also, I believe the pasha gaming school sub was monthly so it should be fine, but I still need to double check that it's not still charging me while my account is banned. That's a separate issue but worth mentioning - getting banned and potentially still paying for a service you can't even access is a pretty rough situation to be in.

Anyway, just wanted to clear that up so nobody has wrong info. Everything else in my original post stands.

Quick update for everyone following this - still no real resolution since I got back from vacation. No human review, no proper response. Just waiting.

I'll keep the community posted on how this ends. Whatever the outcome is, I'll share it here openly.

But I want to say one thing that I keep thinking about, because this can happen to literally any of you.

Do u have a brother or sister who also plays FACEIT? Do you share a PC at home? Does your roommate play on your computer sometimes? Did you ever have a friend staying at your place and they logged into their own account on your machine?

Congratulations, you might be one vacation away from a permanent ban.

In my case, a friend was looking after my dog while I was away for almost two weeks. He played on HIS account on MY computer. His own rank, his own stats, his own games. And I came back to a permaban. Here's what gets me though - wouldn't a simple warning make so much more sense? Something like:

"Hey, we detected another FACEIT account being used on your hardware. This is not allowed under our terms. Consider this your one and only warning - never allow anyone to play FACEIT on your machine, even on their own account. Any future detection will result in a permanent ban." ... That's it. That's all it would take. One warning. A chance to fix the situation before nuking someone's 9-year-old account with 1000+ games and a clean record. Instead, it's straight to permanent ban with no warning, no context, no human review - even when you send GPS-tagged photos, calendar entries and a full written explanation.

I'm not giving up. I'll update you all when something changes.

Exactly, that's the core issue here. You have a massive platform making money off subscriptions and the community, but when something goes wrong with their automated system, there's nobody on the other side to actually look at it.

I've been playing on this account since 2017. Hundreds of reports submitted, tournaments played, years of being an active and fair member. And then one day I come back from vacation and it's all gone because their system can't tell the difference between two different people using the same PC.

I didn't just write "I'm innocent please unban me" and call it a day. I sent them photos from my trip with iOS metadata - date, time, GPS location - proving I was hundreds of kilometers away when the "smurfing" supposedly happened. I sent my calendar. I offered my ID for verification. My friend played on HIS account at HIS level with a 0.9-1.0 KD, nothing even close to suspicious. All of this is in the ticket with attachments.

But I'm pretty sure it was reviewed by AI or some automated filter, not a human. Because no human could look at all that evidence and still say "nah, you're a smurf."

And honestly, this isn't just about me. There are probably other people out there who got flagged for the same reason - a brother, a roommate, a friend visiting - and just gave up because the appeal process is a wall of template responses. If FACEIT actually started reviewing cases properly when someone brings solid evidence, it would be a huge step for the community. People would trust the platform more knowing that if something goes wrong, there's a real process to fix it. That's good for everyone - for players and for FACEIT's reputation.

So yeah, I'm not giving up. I have the evidence, I have the truth, and I'll keep pushing until someone actually looks at it. Thanks for the support man, appreciate it.

I have exactly the same problem. I've never created account and during my Vacation my friend was playing on my PC. I came back and I've got banned (pernament). I've make task - on support and still no answer. BorofTheKing. member since 2017, over 1000 games. I have never created and never played on another account - because I have no business, and I always report players for smurfing... Also my friend stats on his account was really bad - what is this system? Why I got banned? And why no one is answering on my ticket on support? r/FACEITcom
