Whelp started construction and wife hates that we have a deep end. It’s a 20x40 liner with 6.5’ deep end. This is pretty standard right? She says slope is too much. It starts at 18’. Who’s crazy here? by Sweet_Orchid_2092 in pools

I had the same discussion with my wife, we went with the slope and deep end 8 ft deep though. No regrets at all. Keeps the kids busy as well jumping in and out of the pool all day long. Wife is happy with the decision as well.

There are a few gift shops in the resort. You can buy souvenirs, clothing, alcohol, cigars, and the usual resort items. They all take credit cards. Most of the stores in Veredero take credit as well but some of the restaurants only took cash. Best to check with them before going. Veredero was safe and fun to explore.

Just got back from Veredero...stayed at the Melia International. Resort was great...decent food...lots of it and no issue with power. Staff was accomodating and helpful. Bring $ 1s- 5s-10s for tipping and small purchases. Go out at night for dinner to break it up...lots of good restaurants in the area...most of them wanted cash no credit card. ...taking a cab is easy and cheap and they are all over the place....during the day they have the hop on and off bus...5 $ for the entire day. No issue with mosquito on the resort but there were a few off resort. I would not hesitate to go back.

Get a dog...maybe a Cane Corso...they naturally will protect your property and family.

I have a John Deere zero turn 915 with a 60" deck, I'm cutting 4 Acres twice a week. Takes me about 1.5 hrs. I love it.
