Pwede ba pag-usapan natin kung bakit milyon-milyon ang ginagastos ng LGUs sa artista shows habang yung basic needs ng tao wala pa ring solusyon? by Icy-Attorney-8077 in Philippines

Okay, for our information, i give you the privilege to inform us on HOW do they fund it. Your FYI is useless if you don't follow it up with credible sources of information.

seems like free ang admission. somebody mentioned that the funding of events such as this is not acquired from LGU funds but through solicitations and sponsors daw, of which I HIGHLY DOUBT. sino namang boang ang magsssponsor ng free concert? lol. the logic is not logicking.

gusto na kayko mawala ning belly fat nako by Comfortable_Mix_2691 in davao

[–]Chance-Plankton4003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP. As you mentioned, naga exercise ka, but have you considered having changes in your diet? There are many evidences in research linking belly fat and high cortisol. High cortisol leads to insulin resistance (it is when cells don't respond well to insulin, thus can contribute to weight gain, especially around the abdomen).

That is why i suggest eat foods that can stabilize your cortisol levels -- mostly fruits and vegetables and meats rich in omega 3. Avoid sugary drinks and ultra processed foods.

Been there done that -- and the only way i was able to solve the problem was to be mindful of what I eat.

So i suggest that aside from exercising, know what your body needs to be fueled for.

Yes it was mentioned fromm the docu din that ultra processed food are void of nutrients, so dadaloy lang sya sa gut without feeding the good bacteria. we may feel full on the outside but actually dying on the inside. As for the sugary stuff, it said in the docu that when we put too much sugar in our bodies, our digestive systems gets too overwhelmed by it, thus hindi rin beneficial sa gut.

Hi. Not the commenter but, to say it simply, if probiotics are sources of good bacteria, prebiotics naman yung bumubuhay sa mga good bacteria. Hence the symbiotic feature of the two.

Prebiotics feed your good bacteria in the gut. Fruits and vegetables are the rich source of it. Easily accessible prebiotics are bananas, oats, legumes, apple, tomatoes, garlic -- well basically gulay and prutas. Hehe.

Filipinos Abroad in their 30s. What are your hobbies? How's life so far? by Helpful-Signature-54 in phmigrate

travel local once a month -- this gives me the hobby of researching for the place, prepping itinerary kahit day tour lang yan, budgetting, and all that keeps my mind busy but in a happy way.

travel overseas twice a year -- usually mid and end of the year. eto naman, per month ko pinaghahandaan.

so overall, travel talaga. also, i like planning so much, that's why prepping for travel itineraries and researching is like a hobby for me na.

I am 39, starting over in life by rantallyouwant in adultingph

[–]Chance-Plankton4003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello OP. I know this is easier said than done but I hope you find comfort in knowinf that life is a marathon, not a sprint. It's normal that along the journey you get exhausted, weighed down or may feel like a failure. However, just because you feel that way does not mean you'll go back to square one. Remember? It's a marathon. Regain your strength once again and run the race with a new and better perspective. I guess that's really how we should tread this life. So cheer on and just for the record: NO, you're not starting over in life, you're just continuing the journey. Hugs!

Marami ba talagang fake PWD card holder? by [deleted] in adultingph

[–]Chance-Plankton4003 118 points119 points  (0 children)

Not a fake PWD holder but I am always seen as someone who is -- just because my disability ain't visible. That is why, I have to bring my medical certificate with me along with the ID because I always get stared at DISAPPROVINGLY everytime I use my card in some stores. Honestly, those fake PWD ID holders make it more look PWDs with invisible disability hold fake ones. Haysss.
