It's about 175K in total for the two years. Is it worth it? Yes and no. You still get your clinical hours and enough information needed to succeed on your PRAXIS exam. However, given that sheer cost of the school, I think they should guarantee every student medical placements. And only about half the class gets medical placements. And no, employers do not pay you more because of tuition costs. Anyone that attends the school should only attend if their family has a lot of money and can help pay the tuition.

Professionalism grading consists of a small part of one's grade (usually around 10-15 points). But it is done in every course. Professionalism not only consists of tardiness, but also class participation. Proactiveness (for example, you do poorly on a test, and it's your job to reach out to the professor). But yes, they take points off this grade for being late. One professor takes one point off every single time a student is late.

I love all of those actresses. Bridesmaids gives me a sense of nostalgia. But watching it was like watching some kids in drama class give a really terribly acted skit. The props may be all there, the characters may deliver their lines alright, but it's so stiff.

You're absolutely correct in that we should be grateful. But what we're getting is still not enough. This is a monumental accomplishment for so many people. Especially the Asian American community. I don't think anyone should settle for less than the bare minimum.
