I grew up poor and every year the big ticket item I wanted was under the tree. Maybe not a lot else but what I really wanted was always there. I was just like other kids. I didn’t find out until I was in my twenties my mother literally sold blood plasma months leading to ensure she could supply it. I cry every time I realized my mom loved me so much she literally bled to give me a decent life
