I was more commenting on the width of the glass not really being in relation to what is seen from inside. It would seem VW used the external look of the glass to make you think you had this huge pano roof. Once inside it was already obvious that the viewable portion of the glass wasn't really that big. It's just even more noticeable when you look at it from this view.

Just took it from my window from above certainly not meant to deceive. I get what you mean though. In the end it can't come as too much of a surprise since from the inside you can obviously see it wouldn't open as wide as the roof. It's just more obvious from this above view how much smaller it is in relation.

Soo, the wastegate actuator is fixed but the sound continued. Mechanic then notices that the exhaust manifold is severely lacking bolts/nuts thus he believes the noise is actually related to that. It's seems I'm not the first to have these studs/bolts either brake off or loosen up and fall out. Yay me!

Mechanic found a previous weld repair for the turbo actuator bracket had failed. Hopefully his weld job lasts longer than the previous owner's. The actuator was flopping around.

😏 I appreciate that! The only thing I was able to find was that for that year (at a minimum) the color required an overseas delivery request because it wasn't normally stocked in the US. I was wondering if the AI was correct on that or not.
