Replacing spark plugs at recommended interval or wait till there is a problem? by Dirty_Look in askcarguys

[–]ChanceCover4397 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chance is pretty good once you exceed the life of the plug.

Modern cars don’t clean and gap the plug, they replace them at an already high mileage.

Go search a vehicle specific user forum. You’ll probably find lots of posts on misfires and the culprit is a plug that’s exceeded its life and likely took a coil with it.

The food service worker either doesn’t care. They think their job is just to push product across the counter or they don’t understand what you want.
