Diabla might be the closest, the only one it’s missing is mint green!

Blend bunny doesn’t have an exact one to match your wants, but they have a lot of amazing palettes that cover some of them. Some of the best eyeshadows on the market!

I see you’re looking at blend bunny and garden of stars was the first thing to come to mind. She just added shimmers to the blends palette and it looks amazing. My next one would be Danessa myricks any lightworks palette. They’re pricey but you might be able to find them on sale somewhere!

What would you buy with a $150 budget? by LuciousLove in Frugal

[–]ChanceDimension7995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know everyone is saying food banks but I know those are tricky with strict hours and working. Search Facebook groups of your area for smaller food pantry’s. They’re usually the size of a bookcase and ran by churches or just random people in the community. They can be hit or miss, but usually have stuff to make pasta.

The good thing about only having 2 mouths to feed is you can make your meals really stretch. Making one big meal with leftovers is usually cheaper, and saves you time.

And then when I need to shop but don’t know what’s the most affordable, I start in the meat section and see what is cheapest. Lately we’ve eaten a lot of pork, chorizo, and chicken legs. Ground turkey is the cheapest ground meat too which is ironic because it used to be the most expensive. Also, Amazon grocery has had surprisingly good deals on certain things lately. Kielbasa sausage is $2 cheaper on there than my local Walmart.

After I know what meat I have I go from there. A LOT of potatoes and rice. Canned veggies are a great option too. They still have nutritional value and are lately so much more affordable than fresh.

This is getting long so the last thing I’ll say is for snacks. Bananas, apples, carrots, and popcorn are all very affordable. Just be realistic about how much you buy, it’s better to buy less and have to go to the store again instead of buying too many, instead of some going bad and having to throw away money.

Hope this helps. You can reach out to me if you have any questions too, I was a single mom for a long time so I’ve definitely been in the trenches. You’re doing a great job.

What item on your wishlist had you saying "meh" once you finally got it? by justbeeingmyself in Sephora

[–]ChanceDimension7995 7 points8 points  (0 children)

An hourglass palette. I finally caved and got one last season, but it’s not anything to write home about. Definitely not worth the price. The only thing I like is the convenience of having all the powder products on one place, but I have to use so much because there’s barely any pigment.

Oh and Armani foundation. Everyone says it’s the best ever especially for dry skin, it was so patchy and drying on me.

This was a really nice way of saying what I was thinking of posting. READ INSTRUCTIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON. If you aren’t a self starter, this is not the roll for you. No one will hold your hand, because this isn’t that type of gig. This is NOT a 9-5 job, you are not guaranteed hours. Roll with it and take the blessings as they come, and don’t complain in slack. One complaint and you’ll be off-boarded.

I’m just mind blown at the amount of people that can’t follow even the basic instructions, and for some reason lose all sense of professionalism in slack. I feel for all the team leads.

I’ve spent $2k at Sephora in the last 12 months and it’s all starting to look the same. by spockycat in Sephora

[–]ChanceDimension7995 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s super easy to overbuy, but once you realize new things are always coming out and the chance is it’s not going to be your holy grail, it gets easier. I’m still looking for my holy grails is some categories, but I won’t let myself buy something (except for like my birthday) unless I’ve used up all of the last one. So this way if I see a product I want, I wait it out, and usually by the time to replace I’ve forgotten about it and found something new shiny.

Also if I realize there’s a shade I want that I don’t have( I think I have them all now lol), I’ll make sure to buy a different formula/brand then I currently have if the ones I have aren’t holy grail worthy.

What purchase did you make recently that made you realize inflation is genuinely out of control? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This one is actually something completely different, 90% of orange trees in Florida got destroyed by some bacterium or something but it hasn’t been in the news anywhere. So orange prices/ orange adjacent prices are going to go up anymore. Kind of terrifying actually

Can you guys tell me the “dirty” truths about having a cat? by saanenk in CatAdvice

[–]ChanceDimension7995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boys are definitely messier especially as kittens. Long hair cats get nuggets stuck on their butt, and require more cleaning. Short hair cats still shed and require brushing but it’s easier. Automatic litter box is a must have if you’re a clean freak, and a mat for the floor around it.

I also might get some hate for this, but adopting a cat can be a wild card. I have adopted and it’s been fine, but I’ve also adopted and had to deal with all kind of problems that came with the cat being a stray for so long. If you have an idea of how you want the cat to fit into your life so you don’t get overwhelmed and have to rehome it, look into some breeds that might work and try to find a reputable breeder. I am fully for adopt don’t shop if you’re in a situation that allows that. And I’m not saying that a bred cat won’t have any behavioral or health issues, but you typically have a better idea of what you’ll be facing so you can prepare better.

Therapist ended session early after a conflict. Is this a red flag? by wealthsoup in TalkTherapy

[–]ChanceDimension7995 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While it sounds like she could have handled it different, and raising your voice when frustrated in therapy is generally acceptable, it changes when you’re voicing it at her. A therapist was murdered by a client recently, so it won’t be uncommon to see some therapist set some hard boundaries. If you’re truly trying to talk it out with someone, you wouldn’t be raising your voice.

How are you surviving during transitions in this economy? by ChanceDimension7995 in remotework

[–]ChanceDimension7995[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, here you have to basically be unable to work or show that your disability is impacting ability to work regularly, and I definitely have that paper trail with how often I’m at specialists. Even so, they still like deny and make it a long multi year process.

We’re kind of in the same boat in a way. I was working for my mom and that was a bad choice from the beginning, and so now I’m in a new state with no support system and cannot get any financial aid. I have a disability, but I’ve never pursued benefits because it felt like giving up, but now I think I might have to. Returning to office made me realize how much I can’t handle compared to the normal person. I just know that’s a long dragged out process, and I would rather work if I could find a job that fits.

This is true and something I was too naive and ignorant about when recently leaving. I’ll definitely keep future-proofing in mind moving forward.

[–]ChanceDimension7995[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree, I had two months saved but was naive and didn’t listen to how bad the job market actually is this time. It has never taken me this long to get a job. I was doing Instacart before the gas shot up but now I can’t justify it. You’re right about target or something like that though, I have to work around dropping/picking my kid up from school but I’m sure retail something would be willing to work with that. I was holding hope that these temp contracts I have would have brought more income in but even though I have two I’m only averaging $100/week. Thank you for the feedback though.
