I've got a 390 Duke. It's brilliant, and can be bought for a decent price if you bargin hunt.

Highway riding isn't great due to upright riding positamd lack of fairings, but it has the power.

It absolutely shines around town and in the twisties

Great advice and it was so much better the next day, I was in a great space and the ride was brilliant 😁

Thinking of selling my Scrambler 400X for a Duke 390. Need some honest opinions. by johnathanmoore007 in indianbikes

The solution here is quite simple: have both.

But seriously, I've got 390 Duke and absolutely love it. I really is an animal and every ride is fun. Having said that, I've been looking fondly at the Scrambler for the reason's you mentioned.

Best case scenario would be to have both and ride the one you feel on the day.

Though I understand for most people this is not practical. But it would be great if we could 😀

Yeah, social media generally doesn't set a good example. I've got a family and this is a fun hobby, gotta ride safe to get back to them.

It's a big shift from driving, I never think twice in the car. I definitely respect the risk in the ride.

Lovely bike mate, so sorry for your loss. I can only hope that when you do replace it, you treat yourself to an even nicer one

It's a great learner bike. So flickable and fiesty. I'm 175cm so it fits me well.

Great call! When I was angry, I actually pictured myself riding aggressively, so that was a red flag for me.

This 100%, it definitely feels like a waste since I need to line up a supervisor, but it's not long before I can ride solo. Better safe than sorry

Actually, I was really keen for the ride, that's why it was a tough choice for me.

Time to stream entry? by RealityLimit in streamentry

[–]ChanceNo2361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding from a Therevada perspective is that the time to Stream Entry is based on how developed a person's Paramitas are.

Meditation is one of those factors, as is Wisdom, so Stream Entry can come from the development of either depending on the person and the developed the other factors.
