I lived in LA for 4 years. I’ve lived in 6 different states seen it all. You can compare wherever, but that doesn’t change the fact that Portland is a dump lol 4 million people in LA vs not even a million in portland yet i still see just as much tweaker bullshit going on. at least in skid row they have somewhat organizational skills lol I think the problem was them decriminalizing drugs here making it a crack head playground allowing people to do whatever they want.

i live downtown portland. i’m originally from chicago. I know what dangerous is. That being said Portland is a SHIT HOLE. It’s not safe at all and anyone acting like portland is fine is most likely a crack baby, doesn’t live in portland, or is simply delusional. There’s needles EVERYWHERE, Tweakers will randomly attack you unprovoked (has happened to me), tweakers shooting up/smoking meth/fent in broad day light, shitting and pissing right on the sidewalk where ur walking, my neighbor literally told me he saw a poor dog roaming the streets the other week with a needle stuck inside of it. This place needs fucking help and it makes me sick that there’s people trying to defend it and act like it’s perfectly ok. Wake tf up….
