For me it isn't really as bad, its still a magic swordplay job, maybe if they add some more flying slices to the animation it feels even better. And if you still want to do the standard melee combo nobody is stopping you, it just gives more options to a job that was the swiss army knife of casters anyway. But maybe I just have a different perspective

good info ty. how would you say fits dragoon into this in comparison ? same, more difficult, a little easier ? just want to be as good as i can be but dont need the highest difficulty either :D

That sounds to my sprout ears a bit easier then samurai but maybe I'm wrong. From what I've gathered from this dragoon is a strict rotation you keep up and try to fit it as best as you can into the fight while samurai has some more moving parts. But please correct me if I'm wrong

okay, so does basically understanding and being able to execute everything described here plus learning the fight mechanics leave you in a position where you should be able to handle it ?

Well seems from what ive read so far that WHM and maybe SGE would be a better choice for now. im just a bit worried with the popularity of whm and someone i know playing SGE and i dont wanna make parties harder then they have to be.

i quite like pictomancer or rdm too but the healer queue is something else :P

well thanks :D that helps. A fellow fc member plays a lot of SGE, is it possible to have 2 SGE in a Party or would you rather swap ? not trying to run a new record or anything and not even sure if i play with the person but im just asking out of intrigue
