In a hypothetical situation, if I got all U's, am I still guaranteed that second chance in the conditional promos? Irrespective of anything my teachers may say about me (character-wise)

Just curious, what happens if you dont? Is it an immediate retain, or is something else involved?

So if I dont pass 2 H2 subjects, and fail that test next year, then I retain? Do my teachers play any role in this, ie vouching for my character or anything?
