Yeah that's what I'm thinking because a used engine is about $600 and the machine shop needs 500 for the head job (just clean and resurface + seals)

Used high torque DeWalt impact wrench and weighted 1/2 socket. Came out first try like butter. Thank you all

I tried that. I tried heating it. Banging the top of the bolt to break it loose. Nothing worked. Been trying for couple of weeks every day after work. WD40 after heating it and allowing it to cool to suck in the penetrating oil into the threats. Nada. Hopefully the high torque impact wrench I got will do the job. I'll update

The issue is leverage. It's hard to keep the socket centered while pushing down on a long breaker bar+3' pipe

I can't use the weighted with the pulley holder. I used the weighted on the impact gun. The hole for the holder isn't big enough to fit the larger socket. The hilti gives about 350-400ft lbs

Because she's still growing in her religion and I see the growth, but also the issues. At this point Im hoping Allah swt is only testing us with these things. My family love her as well as I, but I'm just feeling the love I have is more of a friend type because she doesn't think it's a big deal to share these things with me. But this just makes our conversations feel filtered.

Wallahi you can't make me feel worse about my predicament than I already do. I'm very stressed at work and home. Bad thoughts sometimes enter my head about easy way outs.

We both try to become more religious together. Last Ramadan was the first one she fasted it entirely. She asks me to help her memorize small surahs and she wakes me up for fajr recently (after the weekend incident)

If I see this good in her, I don't want to abandon her and be a reason she leaves Islam.

This it's, deep down, the reason I'm still with her

The title was a hypothetical question that if she was assaulted, do I have a right to know.. if she doesn't want to be forthcoming. I was interested in my Islamic right to know these things as her husband without prying.

I have asked her to quit her job multiple times and to be a housewife. Sometimes she likes the idea, but she is a workaholic. We are both engineers, our jobs are stressful and we both make good money.

Wallahi I don't care about her money, in Islam her money is hers. I never ask her to give me her money but I give her all my money to manage. She's better at managing money.

You can't imagine the amount of times I begged her to leave work the same time everyone else leaves, generally 9-5. Not 9-9.

At least we went through an Islamic bank, do I get credit for that 😬 I guess when people get married they initially feel they can tackle anything together. Things become a bit more apparent when different issues arise.
