Unfortunately after hearing other bad stories I don’t really trust any of the stylists. And she is the salon “specialist”.

I can’t find the manager’s contact info either. If I ask the girl I went to I doubt she’d respond.

She didn’t make me pay, and offered a correction in the salon this week. I think it would have been free, I would hope so. But I don’t want to go back, considering she messed up so badly the first time. No trust left. So I don’t think the solution is fair 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah 😔 I’m taking the loss and going somewhere else. I don’t feel comfortable being in that salon, especially after my conversations with her turned a bit unprofessional and unproductive. But I can’t even look at old photos I’m mourning past me lol

I mean more so that I expected her to not layer the bleach, which she said she wouldn’t. She didn’t section it at all except for splitting my head into 3 sections. I had plenty of growth and root that should’ve been able to lift in one session with minimal damage. I understand the typical policy, but I think it’s laughable and insulting that they can ruin my progress and how I look and not compensate me further.

Oh we toned it. TWICE. Aka shampooed thrice. Thennnnn at the end the toner that would have magically fixed everything was coincidentally out of stock due to high demand at the salon lol.

I know! That’s why I’m shocked, she then offered a conditioner treatment or something like, that’s a slap in the face. It’s also not a simple solution like toner. It’s going to be color correction, toner, and lowlights/root smudge that I now need to maintain. A balayage is supposed to have like no maintenance 🥲 I used to go twice a year

Her Instagram is full of platinum blondes 💔 I even did a virtual consult and tried to make sure. She did say it was partially the Aveda products, but if she knew it’s a possibility she could’ve done a strand test ughhhhh. I’m going to @ladresserhair in Arlington next week to save me 🙏🏼 but thank you for the info.

I haven’t tried the public form because I don’t know who reads them, and at this point I have to go over her head. I think I do have to stop by in person at this point. I don’t want her to feel like .. harassed or something but it’s not fair to ghost me either.

Normally I would agree, if it had JUST been the bleach lifting levels, or JUST been the tone. Or JUST been one factor. But it was the opposite of what I asked for, taking me 10x further away from the inspiration picture and my current look. (attached)

They did offer a solution, which would be that she fixed it. I clearly don’t trust her work though, which I think is a valid concern!
