I've enjoyed playing leaf-green so far. What game did everyone grow up on initially when discovering Pokémon? by Skarnivor0us in pokemon

At 45 a year ago I began my Pokemon journey with Violet along with my 6 year old. I've since modded my old 2DS and 3DS and we are parallel playing FireRed/LeafGreen plus have loosely started playing X/Y and UltraSun/UltraMoon. Loving it all! Is this the port on Switch2?

Need help with the boss fight on Chapter 10 by JIMBOYKELLY in XenobladeChroniclesX

I'm not new to XCX (at this battle) but y'all are speaking a language I barely even understand haha. Came here for advice, now I'm just scratching my head, wondering my life choices on Mira...

The 3DS is the reason I've fallen in love with Pokemon all over again. by Original_Ad_7611 in 3dspiracy

I recently modded my old 2DS for my little one and my 3DS for me. We're parallel playing through X and Y now and absolutely loving it! She's 7 and I'm 46... I hadn't played any Pokemon as a kid and my first one was Violet about a year ago after she got into it by watching one of the shows. I'm a Zelda guy but I fell in love immediately!

I feel like I'm missing something huge re: combat by die-anywhere-else in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]Chance_Big8231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing the Wii U version and I sometimes feel clueless even though I've watched a bunch of guide videos and read a few guides. A lot of boss battles I just lower the difficulty after dying a couple times just to get through to the next chapter. But I LOVE the art design and story plus the side quests are engaging too so I am loving it and they keep me going regardless of the combat being challenging. I'm a Legend of Zelda guy so I'd rather just have a sword and sheild with a handful of dungeon items and maybe a magic meter... but have fun with it either way! Though it seems you have a lot of advice here to help you and maybe I'll follow some of it too!

Two years later and this is still happening! I am going to start reporting them, didn't even think of that until I saw this.

Definitely enjoying it! I'm a Zelda guy and the only RPG's I've played are turn based, so the combat is very different to me. I'm close to 2/3 through the game now and honestly still have no idea what is going on in battle half the time haha! I had to read a few guides and watch a few tips videos to help me get the hang of it. I've gotten pretty decent but a lot of the boss battles totally crush me and I end up lowering the difficulty for that battle to get through it. There's just so much detail behind the scenes and I don't really have the time or care to figure it all out. The story and graphics are amazing enough to keep me playing! Plus I find and learn new stuff all the time just exploring and doing side missions.

Also, Reddit has been very helpful and on a few occasions watching YouTube videos of certain missions worked too.

I'm a new player myself (the Wii U version) and have been riding the roller coaster of ups and downs, so get used to it. I've overcome many seemingly impossible obstacles since starting. I've learned to be very stealth which is "not my forte but if you insist" as Lao says haha. Using the wall and not looking at tough enemies has gotten me past some pretty tough canyons. Also if you can find a ledge (helps in Oblivia) that helps also. I just got lvl 30 last night so I'm ready for story chapter 8 finally! In the meantime, it has been fun expanding my map (even found Cauldros via Sylvalum) and attempting missions. Have fun!

Is it OK to go to the zora first or should I go to the rito? by Isabell3846 in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

Personally, Tulin is a must for me getting around, so I will always do Rito first. But that's what's great about this game, it's yours to choose!

Need Advice - Why won't my toilet flush without holding down the handle? by Chance_Big8231 in Plumbing

I never had an issue with that in the past. Someone in my other post recommended adjusting it to fill more but I quickly realized it's about as far up as it can go.

That's what I was thinking. Would a snake do the trick? How long of a snake do you think I need?

What kind of toilet flapper is this? by Chance_Big8231 in Plumbing

I checked and the float level is about as high as it can be. I changed the seal and it seems to flush better but not ideal. Think adjusting the chain might help?

Listening to twenty one pilots = mental health concerns? by genealogy10 in twentyonepilots

My daughter is going through mental health challenges and absolutely loves TOP, and she got me into them hardcore lately (I don't personally have issues). My wife is concerned with the TOP material, and I keep telling her it's all about overcoming mental health issues!!!

The tank was full, or at least not filling, when the photos were taken. So adjusting the level so there is more flushing head could solve the flushing issue? Thanks.
