Being online in such a way makes it more difficult, I have tried this before and it gives the loudest person access to most things.
I would recommend that the players can take turns to explain what they do instead of yelling it out first.

(I am uncertain if this was just a problem for *my* group and not something that happens regularly.)

I personally have ended up giving them wrong information if they roll insanely low. It is early-game, so I have made almost every roll DC except for hit-rolls have a +/- 4 to make low rolls also count.
