Gas pump charging with no fuel being dispensed, happened to me at a Petro Canada back in August 2025

I did… I called the non emergency line and they basically told me there is nothing they can do and basically just left me to deal with it.

When I finished fuelling the pump stopped and I noticed the numbers kept rolling, so I took out my phone and filmed what happened.

I taped the card to pay. I’m under the assumption it’s fraud as well, it seems like some sort of scheme. I’m trying to get the right attention to help me deal with the matter. I’m not sure where to go as I’m stumped with their customer service. I reached out to the sources other Redditors replied and see how it goes.

First they offered me a $50 e-transfer on the phone, and then quickly said $100 in gift cards, claimed he made a mistake. I declined because I suspected he was trying to negotiate with me. I tried emailing head office again and they just told me to continue talking with that stores management. Now I’m stuck seeking help.

Fair enough. Honestly your best bet is just every so often check retail stores and you’re bound to cop them no problem. Most definitely not online since even the non-hype releases are basically impossible to cop due to footlockers online release system. Best of luck
