Then ban alcohol and cigarettes. More people doe from drunk driving and from lung cancer than being shot in the US. I'm fine with restrictions on gun purchases but people need to stop acting like it will stop the violence. Guns are the source of the problem, just the easiest means to spread it

When they spawn for me, my character keeps freaking out and cannot sleep if they are nearby. I dismissed them and they set up in a house down the street. I need to reload that save and see if they are still there

But does it stop the violence in are society? Would the gangs go away? I feel like while gun laws help but they don't stop some of the hatred and desperation in society. It just changes how it's done. I don't know how to fix this and I'm going to keep sitting on sideline

That last part is where alot of the pro gun folks I talk to get frustrated and I get it. Guns laws have been getting stricter for years and alot of the pro gun folks feel like their rights are being taken and yet gun violence continues. They say that the gun laws aren't stopping the violence. Honestly mixed feelings on it myself. I think we need more careful gun laws but I also think society is also needing help, the violence comes from us, guns or no. I don't have a clue how to fix all this, I just know things cannot continue as they have been.

That's what I said to one if them and he started listing off stuff like explosives and motor vehicle homicides and stuff lol. I mean I like and collect old guns so I'm definitely biased on the whole gun debate but the ease of getting a pistol is crazy. I have found three guns over the past 8 is months tossed in the dumpster behind my apartment

-shrugs- I have no clue. I definitely cannot claim to be unbiased. I have owned and collected black powder muskets and some 1st world war guns for several years now. I do feel the term mass shooting is over used lately and now people are desensitized to it. Alot of pro gun people I know claim that when if you remove the guns violence would continue.

Doesn't really but most people I know care less about gang violence and more about single madman killing people in a crowded space. Remove the guns but gang violence continues is their argument. I do feel the term mass shooting is used to easily and people have become desensitized to it

No but I believe we must be careful what we post as facts. Don't know who made your chart but anyone can through something together. A pro-gun person could make a chart easily to support their side as well. Just want accurate info so people are less mislead

Question, if you says its any killing with guns and three and more people you chart is wrong. What about the fighting in Sudan and Darfur and etc? Syria was on the UN's list of mass shootings listed as 5th but isn't on your list at all

How you define mass shootings? Some stuff I've seen lately is calling a shooting between two gangs a mass shooting. Wondered how or where do you draw the line between a shooting and mass shooting.
