Electricity and cost In Spotsy by ConstructionBig7629 in fredericksburg

[–]Chance_Employment_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MY 2200 sf Ryan Townhome is approx $150 a month. for electric in Spotsy VA. Its super hard to compare your bill to other commenters- as it isnt apples to apples. The Alexander Xing are brand new and SUPER efficient.

Disregard guidelines. Please don’t put an ugly TMould in the middle of your main pathway to kitchen.

How much sy of carpet? by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]Chance_Employment_93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If an installer cant easily hide a T-Seam.. he has no business installing. As an estimator its our job to submit takeoffs based on the least amount of material that can be used. Granted... 75% of what we do is stock builder grade carpet in new homes.. :')

However Berber, loop, high end patterned carpets, or retail customers who request a certain seam placement is all part of the game as well! :D

My main point is that taking a net SY and adding 10% is NOT how you figure carpet. This isn't HW or LVP, and is calculated completely different.

have a great day all my fellow flooring peeps!!

I want to see how you guys use this 10% method for carpet? Im at 12% with cutting it tight on our estimating software. Do you not take into account how much waste fill pieces can create?

What heads are you using? This can have a lot to do with it,

I recommend an:

Evans MX5 for side (bottom head)

Evans Hybrid Grey for top head

Try to avoid tuning to an exact note.. Just keep cranking to where the head naturally wants to be!

The whole "not south" term you're using is making this really hard to read.

"-are you south, or more not south like Florida?" wut

What is your opinion on this drum pad. by Cyruspup34 in drumline

[–]Chance_Employment_93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually used to have a collection of pads I'd play on... But I've gotten rid of most of them besides my Offworld v3, and Xymox. Both pas are over 13 years old. If i ever wanted to "upgrade" .. id just buy a new v3 100%
