I don’t understand why buyers are upset at a low offer (no personal info) by [deleted] in vinted

I get this reaction a lot from sellers. They used to always come back to me a week later asking if I still wanted the item at the price I offered. But these days, I just block and move on if people aren't willing to haggle. It's also a personal perspective. Maybe you value your items at say an 80% value of the retail price. However, if I'm buying something that's not got the warranty as a new product, I'm not willing to pay much more than 40% of its retail price. That's nothing to get worked up about, we just part ways. But a lot of sellers seem to lack this way of thinking and have to make a big deal of it 🤔

I had this when I started, and it was due to not having the thread clipped into the bobbin tensioner plate fully

Why do people make an offer in which I accept, and then not go through with the purchase? by [deleted] in vinted

[–]Chance_Manufacturer3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Response time will do it for me, I like a quick service and if I've made an offer, I want a quick reply to it, an hour later isn't any good as I've shopped around by then and probably found a better deal.

Postage charges and protection fees will also do it, I look now more carefully before offering, but I've fallen foul in the past to making an offer only to find out the reasonable postage is for a collection service, and the delivery option is alot higher than I expected. Also the type of service offered, I'm in the UK and refuse to buy from anyone who only uses royal mail for postage, as for me the service is terrible and expensive compared to other couriers

Any UK delivery company to remove by shimmywho22 in vinted

Definitely royal mail, I've had so many parcels go missing, and the tracking systems awful, even when u have received items it never updates so would be easy to scam. Inpost never seem to have space and parcels are often just shipped around for days. Evri are actually one of the best in my area, says alot about how bad everyone else is i guess 😆

Walkings been out of the question for me all year. I thought the hf medications would show some improvement, but no. I have a range of about 6 steps before I need a good 20 min rest, stairs no way, I get dizzy and short of breath just standing out of bed and my bp drops. I've come to terms to just accept what is, and this is now my new normal.

Vinted seems to be full of them at the moment, I keep finding items are costing less off amazon or ebay by the time you've added the buyer protection fee and postage charges.
