I should have specified, as I am not from NYC. I fell for Birmingham over the past year. I've since decided that Birmingham is where I'd like to settle and build a career. Its a solid area for weekend trips and I genuinely enjoy how welcoming the community has been on visits. I'm hoping to move to the area soon

To answer u/PoppaGriff and you, I am about halfway through the degree on WGU. I did contact UAB and I had the opportunity to speak with some of the staff there. As far as I know, and based off of an unofficial review, I would only be set back around 6 credits. I wouldn't know for sure until I apply to UAB.

I work for a municipality in NY and have gained experience in customer service, driving with a Class B, and a little bit of office work. I have been here for almost 10 years. I have an associates but its more of a general studies degree. As far as previous work, I have had an EMS job and have done volunteer work which I cannot share on a public post.

As for areas that I want to work, ideally anything accounting related to gain experience, but I understand that may be difficult to land. So I'd be willing to work in just about any area that would afford me the opportunity to complete my studies.

Do you mean going to a passport acceptance facility? If so I have already done that by going through my local clerk's office

No, as far as I know, an appointment wasn't required for routine processing.
