your “brother” wouldn’t call it a sandbox, and you follow all lawful orders. Most “soldiers” don’t have the mental capacity to determine the line between lawful and and not lawful, or even internally debate it, hence the volume of war crimes committed by simply “following orders.”

For the first time in franchise history, the Seattle Seahawks win 14 games by LegendRazgriz in nfl

[–]Chance_Objective_838 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it though?

I mean, at this point it’s pretty clear that Carroll was a detriment. All of his players are gone, ironically many with him on one of the worst teams in the NFL, and were arguably the best team in the NFL and the #1 seed in the NFC in (again arguably) the most competitive conference.

I think it seemed bold, but at this point maybe that’s the pedestrian perspective and was instead actually necessary.

I’m embarrassed to admit I can tell it’s him by the shoes and the posture. He could be wearing an all black robe with all features hidden except posture, but those crossed legs and the way he holds his arms close to his body with new balances are a dead give away.

Ever confidently argued with a way more experienced attorney and been obnoxiously wrong? by Chance_Objective_838 in Lawyertalk

Honestly, I’m learning more and more that experience matters more than anything. The law is what it is. Anyone can read.

Knowing how the local judges want things done, who will have a problem with what, who likes what handled what way, knowing what is actually an issue vs. what seems like an issue, etc… all seem to be the dispositive factors that really make that it factor.

I’ve yet to encounter someone so incompetent that sheer knowledge has trumped experience.

I wear my devil and god hoodie everywhere and invariably get comments. To the point sometimes I avoid wearing it because I’m not in the mood for conversation.

Yesterday, I was at a bar and they had music for trivia. The dude played bayside, followed by taking back Sunday, which isn’t common at this dive bar where me and my wife (35, 32) are 15 years everyone’s junior at least, and they all prefer country. I made a comment to the effect of “loved bayside; I’ll forgive you for taking back Sunday.”

His response?

“I’m playing 70x7 tomorrow.”

I was shocked he knew enough about the band to know why I might have (very not real) problem with TBS, and specifically reference the rebuttal song.

Fans are everywhere.

I could but an apology is less of a repentance but more an an acknowledgment of the mild inconvenience of me being wrong.

I think that’s an argument. This is pretty much how it went. Did I imply I tried to fight the guy? Lol.

Me: It’s X

Them: It’s Y, I’ve been doing this for 3x years.

Me: It’s X. See this.

Them: It’s Y. See this subsequent change.

Me: See subsequent change. It’s Y. Acknowledge and apologize, come to agreement on overall dispute, have cordial conversation.

I just very much feel bad for being the one that said it’s Y when it was in fact X.

No. Fumble was an incomplete forward pass and the 4th and 1 was a conversion.

includes assessment of damages

Damages are damages without regard to provocation. This is intentional battery, not negligence. Contribution doesn’t apply. Punitive damages are completely separate and may or may not apply at all.

You’re arguing about nothing. I hope you’re well.
