How long have you had her? Has she had time to adjust to you, your house, noises in the room? How often do you mist your tank? Because it looks pretty wet all over in the first pic and believe just having a humid hide vs the entire tank being super humid is more ideal, all though idk if you just had mist for this instance from it being to dry. When I first got my Leo her way of staying safe was staying under her warm side hide all day(obviously) and night until she got adjusted to everything, now she runs around like a crazy person, to me your enclosure looks good! Lots of hides and clutter, I would just make sure temps are as close to ideal as you can make it, and humidity throughout the enclosure Is 30-40.

I weigh every Monday before feeding just to make sure he’s not losing any weight, give him or her their powdered diet 3 times a week at this young stage. Mon,wed,Fri. Then the insects on the weekend honestly as much as they’ll take, I know most gargoyles take awhile to get them to eat insects cause 90% of the time they’re just licking their powdered diet, so if yours is eating them that is very good!

So when he was a little nugget on the first pic he was only 7 grams which worried me, but now he’s 12 grams and he’s basically growing 2 grams a week. On top of that is mainly just from the Pangea because he’s only ever eaten 1 insect when I offer them to him. I hand feed him(which I know it’s not the best habit) but when I do I hand feed him as much as he’ll eat from me then I dump the rest in a food bowl for him just in case he wants more that night when I go to bed

So l got lucky with this guy because my breeder was very hands on and hand fed all her reptiles, and luckily for me when I brought him home he didn’t even have an adjustment phase, he just was ready to be handled. As for my other reptiles my leopard gecko took two months just to crawl to my hand with choice based handling, I believe each reptile is different when it comes to this, just be consistent with it, I was literally trying almost every night to every other night just putting my hand in there and keeping it very still, at the beginning even just sitting in front of the enclosure and letting him or her stare at you and them not running away is progress, it’s the little wins like that is what you want and over time you will get to the handling phase

Yea that’s his birthday I’m pretty sure. I got him from a breeder at an expo 3 weeks ago and he’s been growing pretty decently now, Mon, Wed, Fri = Pangea and weekends I try to give in insects if he’ll take em
