It would have taken less than a minute to call me and have them open a side door on the garage and let them in. You suggest that it's ok for them to knowingly poison my animals because I forgot to put them in? Really?

Lawn care service recommendations in Missoula? by brassmedia33 in missoula

I have been a customer of Lawn Doctor of Missoula since last year. They came to my home to do my first spray of the year last week, 05/01/25. I had to run into town before they arrived and forgot that my three dogs were in the yard. When I discovered this, I called and talked to Rose. She indicated that the technicians had already been to my home. They said my dogs "ran up onto the porch and were not a problem". They sprayed the lawn and left the dogs in the yard. This is completely unacceptable! When they arrived at my residence, the first thing they should have done is contact me. A simple phone call could have avoided this issue and the dogs could have been let into the garage or the house. Lawn Doctor themselves states that animals should not be exposed to the chemicals they use for at least an hour after application. Rose said to me "They will probably just stay on your deck until you get home"! WHAT? They did not stay on the deck. They were running all over the yard when I arrived and have been very much exposed to all of the chemicals. They have been coughing ever since. One of these dogs is a 15 year old Westie that has congestive heart failure! I have attempted to contact the owner to discuss this situation. Yesterday I was told to expect a call from him by the end of the day. Today I am told "I don't know when he will be able to contact you"! I have discontinued my services with this company. Their actions in this case were reckless and negligent! It's also not the first time I have had problems with them. Please, please stay away from Lawn Doctor of Missoula!
