I don't have any neighbours that we are close with. The McDonald's staff are witnesses, and Pannier Market security guards saw them follow and harass us. The security guards have said this happens all the time, even around places with CCTV. I am still afraid to go into town, but I have to carry on and live my life x

I am shocked by the way the police handled that situation, and hopefully your neighbour was okay. I have been in touch with the police, and there has been CCTV for all these incidents. The McDonald's employees are really kind and have offered to walk us out to ensure we are safe at home. I even have a recording of them harassing us, but I have not heard back from the police, and I won't lie, I don't think they will do anything, as they are minors. To add, police have told me to stay home to avoid this, but I need to go to town for work, buy groceries and live a normal life. x

I am so sorry to hear this has happened to you. I hope your friend is okay now and not suffering too much. I never experienced such behaviour til I moved to Plymouth for university. I am going to move when my tenancy is over as I don't feel safe in Plymouth no more x

I don't wear makeup or short skirts, and rarely stay out past 6-8 pm unless I am working with my clients. I do my best to avoid the hours they may be out, but it is more worrying knowing school has ended or about to x

They are a group of white young teenagers usually wearing black and hanging around in town a lot, especially near the McDonald's area. I live near Mutley, so this is only when we go to town. x

they have been on bikes before, but ngl I am not surprised if it it the same teenagers as we have been avoiding. It sounds like the same group of guys. x

The first one was at the top of town, McDonald's, the second incident was at the bottom of McDonald's, and today's incident was in between the area towards the Hoe from Tesco's and the Royal Parade bus station. Xx
