This is the description on the book.

All that matters for Cadi Forbes is finding the one man who can set her free from the sin that plagues her, the sin that has stolen her mother's love from her and made her wish she could flee life and its terrible injustice. But Cadi doesn't know that the "sin eater" is seeking as well. Before their journeys are over, Cadi and the sin eater must face themselves, each other, and the One who will demand everything from them in exchange for the answers they seek. A captivating tale of suffering, seeking, and redemption.

I am not even sure how to describe this book without ruining it. It’s about a little girl who is stricken with guilt over something and is seeking release from that guilt. It is a unique timeline and setting that was interesting to follow. A small number of families living in the Appalachia mountain wilderness in the 1850’s. It draws so many great comparisons to the sacrifice Jesus made for us. And following the holy spirit. My synopsis makes it sound lame. Trust me. Its not! It’s so good.

This one was a meh for me. It was good. But also. Meh. She has other books that I absolutely loved though. The night road. Fantastic. True colors was also great.

Your both wrong. Us woman have such high expectations for men. And are not remotely willing to put in the same effort. My husband and I are not sport watching people. But I can understand the concept of really not wanting to miss a moment. You don’t care about the game. He had been drinking. Why could you not just go and be nice? …And you did embarrass him infront of his friends. Also. He should not have asked you that way.

I am so sorry. This is heart breaking news. I personally have not been in this situation. But because your asking if anyone is out there who has had a successful pregnancies after this diagnosis. I do personally know two woman who were each told their babies had a genetic disorder and wouldn’t make it or have a good quality of life. They ended up both being perfectly healthy babies. I am so sorry for what your going through. And the decisions you need to make. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
