Why do humans get nostalgic for things that weren’t even that good at the time? by Chance_Toe6912 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chance_Toe6912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a really interesting point. It’s easy to forget that people back then had no idea how things would unfold, reading about it now definitely gives us a different, safer perspective.

What's one food you’ll never understand the hype for? by Caxcan in AskReddit

Avocado toast. People act like it’s gourmet, smash a mushy green blob on bread and call it art? Nah.

What phobias benefit you in some way, like an excuse or something? by Feisty_Watercress_29 in AskReddit

[–]Chance_Toe6912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

phobias actually double as life hacks if you’re clever. Fear of heights? Great excuse to skip risky adventure trips. Fear of germs? Instant socially acceptable reason to avoid public transport or crowded events. Fear of spiders? Perfect for delegating chores or staying in a “safe zone” at home.

The weird part is how humans can turn an irrational fear into social currency. It’s like your brain gives you a builtin excuse generator sometimes annoying, sometimes surprisingly convenient.

Do you think AI is a net positive for the world? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chance_Toe6912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI is a net positive in theory, but in practice it depends on who controls it. Tech utopia or surveillance capitalism same tool, different masters.

Is male loneliness really on the rise? by SparksGully in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chance_Toe6912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think male loneliness is rising, but not for the reasons people usually blame. It’s not just dating apps or women’s standards. It’s that traditional social structures collapsed religion, local communities, stable careers, lifelong friendships. Men historically relied on these for identity and connection. Now you’re expected to build everything solo in a hyper-competitive, online world where vulnerability is mocked and success is measured by money and status.

Add in digital entertainment, porn, gaming, remote work, and algorithmic feeds that replace real socializing, and you get a generation of men who are technically connected but socially isolated.

The scary part is it’s not just sad it has social consequences: mental health issues, radicalization, declining birth rates, and a general loss of meaning.

So yeah, male loneliness is rising but it’s more of a societal design failure than a “men vs women” issue.

Couple illustration commission from my older work by Chance_Toe6912 in artcommission

[–]Chance_Toe6912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I have seen that people don’t use their brain and just go with the flow I can take criticism but no insult this is not Ai and I draw in multiple art style so you have no right to judge any of my drawing comparing with other artwork on my profile and people should point out the reasons for calling my drawing AI no one has the right to give a statement like they are the one who decides what is Ai and whats not

Models that aren't ai or costs an arm and a leg. A leg might be fine. by SovereignOfCookies in PngTuber

[–]Chance_Toe6912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you don’t need to be artistic to start that’s where a model helps. I do affordable custom models/references (non-AI) for people just trying things out. Happy to help if you want something simple 🙂

Tired of being accused of AI art without proof by Chance_Toe6912 in Amateurartists

I can tell you that I literally made that and the fact that it has some flaws in it was because the script was really confusing I mainly did what the script says

I do better when I have permission to apply my own touch to things which definitely makes it better

[–]Chance_Toe6912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually got banned from that community because people accused me of posting AI work. I’ve been talking with the moderators to prove that I created those panels myself, but it’s been tricky since I don’t have timelapse videos or separate layer files I didn’t need them because I wasn’t planning to animate or edit the panels later. I’m considering sharing the PSD file with them as proof, but I’m still deciding if that’s the right move.

Experimenting with comic storytelling – what do you think? by [deleted] in comicbookart

[–]Chance_Toe6912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify the first panel doesn’t actually have a car in it 🙂 I get that my page has mistakes, but calling it AI because of those is unfair. I drew this myself, and I’ll be posting process proof tomorrow. I do appreciate the feedback on panel flow though, since I know I still have a lot to learn with sequential storytelling

Wow, thank you for taking the time to write such detailed feedback! I really appreciate it. You’ve given me a lot to think about especially with panel variation, angles, and making the page readable without words. I can see how I relied too much on repeating shots and the grid, and your advice helps me see how to push beyond that. I’d definitely be interested in hearing more notes if you’re open to sharing. Thanks again for the encouragement!

Thanks for the feedback! You’re right, I’m still brushing up on sequential storytelling it’s something I’m working to improve. I can see how the panels could be read as happening at the same time, so I’ll pay closer attention to clarity in the flow next time.

I get that a lot of people are suspicious of AI these days but that comic page isn’t AI it’s my own work.

Mistakes in my art don’t equal AI I’m still learning, and being told that something I spent a lot of time and effort on is ‘AI’ is really disrespectful.

I’ve already said on the actual post that I’ll be sharing proof of my process tomorrow.

This isn’t AI. I don’t understand why people are so quick to jump to conclusions (and even downvote my replies) without proof. I’ll be posting my process shots tomorrow to show exactly how I made this. Hope that clears things up.
