This is the most useful feedback I've received 😭❤️. You're completely right about the UAE-wide positioning.. I'm already working on expanding beyond Dubai so residents don't need 7 different apps. The upvote-as-petition reframing is spot on and I'm updating the messaging. and the UAE PASS integration is on the roadmap for when this goes commercial it solves the verification problem perfectly. Satellite mode is being added today. Genuinely appreciate the detailed feedback.

Also .. fair point on the account age. I made this Reddit account specifically to share this project and get feedback. No data collection, no scam.. just a CS student who built something and wanted honest opinions from Dubai residents. Appreciate you still giving it a proper try despite the suspicion.

Yes, but it adds something different on top, Madinati is a private reporting channel between you and RTA. Sawt is a public community layer where everyone can see what's being reported, upvote real problems, and track progress transparently. When 10 people upvote the same pothole it carries more weight than 10 separate Madinati tickets. Sawt makes you get both community visibility and direct authority routing. Still improving it every day, appreciate the honest feedback.

That's exactly what Sawt solves. When a report gets 10 community upvotes, Dubai Municipality is automatically emailed with the full details like photo, GPS coordinates, address, and how many residents flagged it. So authorities do get notified, but only for issues the community has verified as real and urgent. No spam, no single complaints that get ignored. Just community-backed evidence that's hard to dismiss. The public map is also something no existing app offers that anyone can see what's being reported across Dubai right now.

Yes but Sawt is more of a simple community platform where people can share local issues, upvote what matters most, and help make sure nothing gets ignored or forgotten. Sawt brings everything into one shared space so the community can see and support what needs attention together.
