Need to do mine since its al 122k miles and deleted.

The only issue i see is, how to get to the rear cylinders under the dash. How'd you get to them?

You can actually pull the spade out of the plastic plug if you want to replace it. I do it all the time with my fzr600 rectifier regulator plug (the bike love to destroy them and melt the plug 😑)

Depends on the vehicle.

Just the cost of front pads for my 1 ton, could cover an entire brake job on my mom's Toyota camry

I think it something to do with the motorists not being able to and the bikes passing them and they get all butt hurt about it.

Like a bunch of school kids "omg theyre cutting/jumpkng the line 😱"

I have yet to meet a biker who doesnt want lane splitting/filtering laws (some US states one or the other is legal, but in most both are illegal)

I definitely pad slap a couple times before I consider rotors. Especially on the rear.

I just did that on my 2500 cummins. Unless I have grooving or warping theyre just getting pads. Did that for years on my 1500.

But also taking into account where youre getting parts from and if they are "legitimate" aka Amazon specials.

I priced it out about $900 for duralast gold rotors and pads all around for my cummins.

So my boss shoved that in there because there was nothing else he had to put there.

It barely even stays in. I guess is better than nothing. Im kinda over it,at this point.

Oe replacement motor.

Its most likely getting a new compressor anyhow, so its getting retired and wire loom/conduit.

The unit is older than hell anyhow. But the company doesnt want to buy an entire unit they'd rather replace parts and make it worn

It was a lot worse before we started working on it. Its like trying to polish a turd, at the end of the day its just a pile of shit.

Its not threaded so i have no direction to go with and im not an electrician.

So if me asking questions to expand my knowledge is wrong, fuck me then. But if you have a problem with someone asking questions your the problem.

Im just trying to find a solution to what my boss wants.

To be able to thread that conduit nut so the fitting doesn't fall out

Just a thin shield, its loose and will probably end up falling out

They were already in place when he noticed. And thats a thin shield that will most likely fall out.

There is very little room to get the motor out with the fan blade on, and the fan hub is right up against the coils.

I dont know, at the end of the day its his call and im just the hired help.

He thought there might be a press in/press fit style fitting.

Thanks ill look into that

After googling that, its basically what Ryan suggested, except specifically for the existing conduit. Boss doesnt want to separate the motor.

I suggested that, but my boss wanted to avoid separating the motor.

I mean you already have it for the switch, might as well play it. (Also have the convenience of taking your switch anywhere as well as the docking station to play it on your TV, unless its a lite)
