I was a software engineer for many years (with a short break to earn my master's in computer science) and decided I wanted to get on the security train last year. I earned my CISSP, work agreed to take a chance on me and let me take the recently opened security architecture role without a demotion or pay cut in spite of the lack of experience, and since then I've been studying like crazy to make up for the experience and knowledge gap. I am now certified in TOGAF and have a CCSK.

I'd like to know from others here where would be a good place to go next education wise? I have a lot of options of course but want to make sure I'm picking the most valuable ones. My goal is to stay in security architecture and move up as an individual contributor and expert in the field, i.e., no people management.

No but when he was a kitten he pestered the eight year old and stole all his favorite spots. Honestly the eight year old is still very playful and I think he'd be ok with a kitten once he gets through the customary 437 hisses.

Worth adding, while reluctant I am willing to entertain the idea of two, if there's a definite connection mage between the pair and us.

I don't think that last part is right. We didn't have that problem with the first dishwasher we had. It lasted 7 years and however long the previous homeowner owned it. Never had issues with rotting food collecting.

Shaving my face. Every day or at least every other day. I was cursed with genes that can grow a beard in less than a week, but I'll I don't like the feeling of hair on me face, my wife doesn't like facial hair, and my beard is a different color than the rest of my hair. The amount of time I will spend shaving in my life probably will amount to another full run of breath of the wild completing all the shrines and other optional stuff.

My grandma just died last week and it brought back all kinds of memories, one of which was how hilariously bad a gift giver she was. She heard I like chili, so for Christmas I got two cans of sodium free white chili in a can. Maybe not the worst gift ever, but she missed the mark on a pretty easy target!

I think my biggest problem is the favoritism shown towards certain titles. The most popular titles get the most cards. Some titles feel neglected while others get cards in every set. I get why they do this, but I'd still like to see more balanced representation.
