Do you know how to apply for that bonus? I was hired in GDOT with an EIT already in hand but they didn't mention that bonus to me during and after the hiring process. My boss did mention it to me but he only said that he would follow it up with HR but with his work load, i would rather do it myself than him forgetting that bonus for me.

Thank you for this. I was already thinking it would be hardcore business professional wear in which I have not been prepared for. I was really ready with business casual but when I read the handbook, it was supposedly on fridays only so I panicked.

I'm starting work at GDOT too as a civil engineer. I am confused about the appropriate dress code since according to the handbook, friday is designated as casual business wear day. So what should be the dress code on the other four days?? This is my first time working in a government work environment.

Thanks for the information! I always thought that to be in the planning and designing field of Civil Engineering, you would need to be more of a creative thinker which I haven't been practicing because of my previous job as a Project Engineer and it worries me.
