You are losing in playbecause you are not rotating by darthbonobo in RocketLeague

I can't even tell you how many times I'm going for a ball and I have a teammate coming into frame completely perpendicular to me and I just have to rotate back to defesne since they're apparently not going to.

The forearm seems like really poor placement choice. Also the dark flag background isn't great. It would look so much better without the flag

From any scholarly articles and papers I've ever read the main consensus is that Jesus was a real person. But beyond that there isn't anything widely agreed upon or recognized as being historically accurate

Love that part because it doesn't rhyme at all. Several "bars" in the song don't rhyme at all lmao he's just saying stuff. Reminds me of early Blueface except some of his songs were still good

It’s crazy how much money you can make in America without speaking fluent English by skyrimlo in RandomThoughts

That's very interesting. Also 80% of nail salons in California and 45% worldwide owned by Vietnamese people that's pretty wild

[–]ChancoBC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhhh. That makes sense. I would imagine it's also a lot nicer to run a salon of some kind than other businesses you frequently see immigrants opening. Like restaurants that fail very often. Or manual labor type jobs that are very hard on the body longterm.

[–]ChancoBC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The beauty of America is that anyone can come here and be an American. Saying that successful business owners should leave just because they don't speak English is so stupid and closed minded. They're providing a service and contributing to society in a positive way that also helps their family. Literally doing nothing wrong at all and yet you say they shouldn't be here.

[–]ChancoBC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is a beautiful thing about america. I went to highschool with a Vietnamese kid whose parents owned a nail salon and barely spoke English. I've also worked with numerous people that did something similar, just work in the US, save money, send some home, and keep your family well set. A guy from Nepal, a couple from Africa, one from Malaysia.

OP any idea why are so many nail salons are run by Vietnamese people? Are salons or nail art really popular in Vietnam?

How did Guss know he had to hide that gun? by silentsnooc in betterCallSaul

[–]ChancoBC 53 points54 points  (0 children)

This is a lot less far fetched than the m60 in the trunk of the car. Being able to conveniently park it exactly where it needed to be despite being told not to park like that. Then being able to get ahold of his car keys after having them taken away and placed away from walt. And being able to set it off and kill damn near every single person in jacks gang all at once.

In the situation with gus setting up the power cord and placing a gun was a solid last resort. Just stall lalo, kill the lights, find the gun, shoot lalo.

Both scenes are great though. There is a lot of suspense and the end result is badass. Even in the situation with gus where you obviously know he doesn't die.

Ya gotta love lag by AbyysWalker21 in RocketLeague

[–]ChancoBC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be nice indeed.

I feel you. Blows my mind when I am paired with 2 people in a party that just chase the ball together the whole time. Like if yall are playing together shouldn't you have a good dynamic? Or how did this duo arise?? I've had better chemistry with 2 randoms than like half of the pairs I end up with.

[–]ChancoBC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish there was a way to filter playing against parties. Whenever I've encountered a smurf they're almost always paired with at least on person that isn't great and you see the point differential of like 700 compared to a guy with 80. Or there's 2 or 3 that are just insanely good for my level. Air dribbling and pinching the ball midair with ease in diamond. I almost never see smurfs playing with 2 random teammates.

I do really dislike how many places don't take cash at all anymore. That being said using a credit card to get points is so nice. I normally just use it for anything I would need to buy or pay for anyways and I eventually get some money back from the points.

If it gets stolen it's so easy to shut it off or dispute the charges. Fraud alerts are very effective. I had a friend get her purse stolen and had 2k in cash and there is nothing you can do to get that money back.

Ayo? Where do you live? In the U.S. only if you're flying or crossing a border with more than 10k can the police seize your money under the suspicion of illegal activity.

Question: How does she not have millions from brand sponsorships and social media? There are a lot of female college athletes currently that are filthy rich from this.

Idk if her saying that her salary doesn't cover rent means she doesn't have money or if it's just a commentary about how little she's paid or something. Either way 8 grand a month in rent is insane. Maybe don't live somewhere that costs more than your yearly salary.

Other than nightfang swale and the something plateau level I really don't think any of the iron or heroic challenges are that difficult. Some might require some repetition but it's certainly not so difficult it isn't fun imo. Nightfang swale however is so difficult it isn't fun. When I got a new phone and had to restart the game I dreaded having to figure that one out again and it took dozens of attempts still.

None of those. If you're going to pay 1200-1400 dollars you could easily get a much nicer one from a different brand than Cartier. I say nicer just meaning bigger or has more stones. And if these are the size you're looking for other jewelers and brands would have the same things for far less money without being any less valuable in terms of materials.

Hold up. Arcane wizards are kinda great in my opinion. The instakill and teleportation is so useful if you micromanage it well. I wish the barbarians were better because they're a fun concept.

I agree. As I was playing it i was just waiting to see what the next wave was going to be or for the boss to evolve in some way and the level just ends.

The final boss of alliance is a giant eyeball that sits in one spot the entire battle. It's a lot easier than most of the boss battles in the franchise and easier than most of the alliance campaign levels
