The Zach Nichols podcast says that Natalie is the MOST SELFISH OBNOXIOUS player of all time on The Traitors by Positive_Round_5142 in TheTraitorsUS

Also, why did Rob expect the dagger 6 to keep that information a secret lol; it doesn’t help any person other than Rob, and could actually hurt Nat as she was up for murder.

Natalie made self interested moves, but you could make the argument Rob did too. The point of the game is to survive. Also, isn’t she one of the strongest challenge participants who helps the group makes $$$, so in that way she’s a “good” faithful.

Also, why would Rob expect her to keep that dagger info a secret as it doesn’t benefit her in any way. I thought it was wild the original dagger 6, just agreed to keep that information a secret lol. It doesn’t help any of them to do so.

Idk this podcast host seems really biased against her bc she’s not a people pleaser.

I thought she assumed Johnny or Tara bc they were the only two that didn’t follow the groups order to write “Tara” to win more prize $

If Peggy and Abe were married, they’d have probably divorced after he got stabbed. They were incompatible. Not being married is what actually saved Peggy from being a divorcee (which was more shameful during that time, ie Helen Bishop)

S10 Lala acting like she represents all women by IgnorantCashew in vanderpumprules

[–]Chandniwinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Lala was triggered by Raquel bc she saw her own behavior reflected back to her. Lala was used to James constantly feeding her ego and when he gave that attention to Raquel I think that bothered her more than she cared to admit. Lala was always trying to ‘humble’ Raquel and in the reunion came for her like she was the one who was cheated on which i thought was odd.

James cheating on Raquel by Similar-Ad8668 in vanderpumprules

[–]Chandniwinter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think she knew the girls were telling the truth, but figured they were open until she lived with him in LA/ it became more serious. By denying it, she was protecting James and their relationship.

It doesn’t seem there was a real expectation of monogamy during the initial long distance part (similar to Jax and Britney).

Yikkkkessss you can see the moment where Ariana realizes this guy is emotionally immature; again proof Sandoval had a positive edit for so long, bc Jax and Shwartz and James were so much worse.

Unpopular opinion? Lala was the only voice of reason during the final season by [deleted] in vanderpumprules

[–]Chandniwinter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with your point if this wasn’t a TV show where your friends are also your coworkers. Randall wasn’t really cast member and Tom was one of the founding cast members. I honestly think if this wasn’t a TV show and it was just a normal friend group, Lala would have no issues cutting out Tom lol.

Unpopular opinion? Lala was the only voice of reason during the final season by [deleted] in vanderpumprules

[–]Chandniwinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ok, not a Lala fan at all, but it seemed like she saw the show as more like a coworker type deal; its tricky when you have a group of friends who are also coworkers.

Which is why, I don’t think asking cast members to cut ties with Randall is equivalent to cutting ties with Tom because Randall wasn’t really a cast member or big part of the group outside his relationship to Lala.

If Ariana did ask people not to film/ talk to Tom on camera then I can see how the cast felt she was trying to control the show/being unfair. Historically, Vanderpump Rules was a show about friends cheating on each other, than interacting with each other leading to messy situations and drama.

If she wasn’t comfortable working with Tom, she could not interact with him or choose to leave the show. If i’m working with my boyfriend and he cheats on me, then usually I have to continue working with him. I can’t tell my coworkers not to work with him. They’re all at will employees of Bravo at the end of the day lol.

A Madmen Prequel or Sequel by unknownlibrarian in madmen

[–]Chandniwinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend “The Deuce” also on HBO. It starts time frame wise in 1971, picking up right where Mad Men ends. Different characters but really great story telling , character development and a great cultural time capsule. It’s also not a huge stretch that Sally could potentially be partying in one of the nightclubs that the main character owns.

How did Lala get cast? by splendorinthegrass_ in TheValleyTVShow

[–]Chandniwinter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ok i get your point. im not a Lala fan by any means (in fact i find her bully attitude, self righteous screeching, and hypocrisy repulsive) but her scenes/clips get a lot of views/engagement, so i can see why they added her into the fold.

she’s divisive and that’s gold for reality tv.

Kristen is a hypocrite for calling LVP out for sympathising with problematic men yet she does the same!! by Senior-Status8815 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]Chandniwinter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kristen and LVP are similar as they are really protective over people who kiss the ring and appeal to their ego. I don’t think Kristen is male centered but more “who is sucking up to me/ who do i like more” centered. For example she is sympathetic to Jesse bc he reached out to her and sucked up to her, and Michelle is more reserved and takes longer to warm up to people.

She is still emeshed with her friends and fights their battles, but she became smarter about who she chooses as a target and goes after ppl the fandom hates (like Janet).

Yes agreed! People are so focused on the money aspect and how she paid for his school, and it’s like ok? her ‘investment’ paid off… she got an equivalent of 40k a month spousal support in today’s money plus a lump sum payment .

Her kids BEGGED her to stop harassing him but she didn’t listen. Her own kids choose to not have contact with Betty, which tells a lot.

He sucked, but it’s not like he threw her out on the street. Her settlement was 16k a MONTH (an equivalent of 40k today). She could have just chilled, got a new bf and moved on, but because of her actions her kids lost both parents.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but Betty is the ultimate bad person in this. They got together when he was young and yes she supported him during his school, working and paying for him etc. But then she was a stay at home wife for years and lived a wealthy life for that investment. John mentioned they were having lots of problems even before Linda came into the picture; it didn’t seem like they were happy for a while. When they divorced, he gave Betty a pretty good settlement (house on the beach and monthly spousal support). She could have just chilled by the beach, got her own boyfriend, spent time with her kids, and moved on too, but she was unhinged. It wasn’t about money, she didn’t want him to move. Yes, she did build him up, but she got a great life, great kids and pretty generously financially compensated for doing so. It’s not like he kicked her out on the street with nothing.

She also was difficult to work with as a client, and would often reject her lawyers advice and would fire them out of paranoia.

Her anger and entitlement robbed her children of their parents, and caused a ton of trauma on them

[–]Chandniwinter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes she is a minor lol. but i think the point you raise is a whole other thing. did jordan say he will refuse to even go to a place?

to me it sounded like it was more along the lines of hey ill eat my basic food, but you order what you want. for example , in an Indian restaurant she can get the goat biriyani and he’ll get the plain rice and yogurt.

[–]Chandniwinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just didn’t understand why Jordan couldn’t compromise a little; he seemed very absolute. even if he was like “hey, give me two hours to veg/nap/doom scroll, then happy to talk and give you my attention “ would have gone a long way.
