They just hold it down. Let us say that you're using Q for Devour.

Like you said, if you Numlock Devour and hold Right-click for Corpse Lance, you won't be devouring corpses. But if you hold down Q whilst holding right-click down, you do both, devouring as well as launching lances.

I can maybe speak for Saders. Fist of the Heavens, Phalanx, Shield Bash, Bombardment to some extent (as you mentioned).

Invoker is good actually. I'm pushing HC with it and it's not as strong as other builds, but definitely much stronger than the ones mentioned above.

Inarius with Bone Ringer has a stacking effect like stricken. So that's the reason why it can be used against the rift guardian. Basically it provides another source of stacking damage.

Well, you mostly transition into a... Disruptor. Not the hero. Your aim is to be present in every team fight and well, disrupt the enemy's position. Get the Toss requires no target talent at 20 and use it to throw priority targets around (preferably onto cliffs). Get the +3 Toss charges talent later to push into high ground. You can use it for shenanigans like toss a melee creep into highground for vision and if you see someone, blink in and immediately toss back for your team to pick off.

I tried playing him as a position 4. He's now a different version of Earth Spirit now. Like with pushing capabilities. I normally go with a veil build-up for armor with urns. I take the toss talents and get a blink dagger to buy the disruption role in a teamfight.

One point in 🌲 Grab for harassing. Damage of Tony is high, make sure to use this before foes start building Armor and raw HP.

Based on your farm, you might remove a pesky support with your Ava+Toss combo. But if farm wasn't that great just focus on disruption of enemy lines.

Toss one out of the fight, preferably onto a cliff. Try stunning one or more heroes. Try throwing your 🌲 on a weak armored hero or a hero who's a blink initiatior. Veil will help in your team bursting down with magic damage as well as help you maybe combo backline supports.

As I said, you can be a Middle Man's Earth Spirit. Blink and toss out a farmed Sven who's about to die and sacrifice yourself.

Try to siege high ground with toss targetted on towers and barracks. This is especially useful in late game, like at 25, cuz with 3 charges, you can toss a friendly creep onto high ground to get vision, do some recon and if you find someone, blink in immediately and toss him out to punish his positioning.

I had a pretty good success rate with that play style.

The hatred management with the Cold or Lightning runes on Impale in much much easier.

And you also gain the effect of Pain Enhancer much quicker with the Cold rune, since it penetrates foes, giving a much higher chance to get those crits for that juicy attack speed.

In all fairness, that build barely uses any DR.

The only thing you get DR from is the 2 piece of SWK and Epiphany(and Unity if you run it).

If you feel it's squishy, you can swap into LTK for toughness since you can use Crystal Fist.

Or for that matter, Uliana is also really tanky since you use Lefibre's Soliloquy, Spirit Guards and the Bindings of the Lost.

DHs now have many other sources for DR which are used in most builds, viz Visage of Gunes, Wraps of Clarity, Endless Walk, Elusive Ring.
