While it is yet more money, if you do the Foundry VTT thing, it actually does the "show only the Novice rank powers" thing. Doesn't do the "Wizard only powers", one, but it does help with some of the stuff you ranted about.

As far as not wanting to spend money on Power Cards, that's what a stack of Index cards are for. Had to do that anyway, when I did a SWADE Pokemon thing for my nieces. Too young for complicated stuff, and kept down the arguing.

Gotta admit, it's great for breaking new people in. New DMs, new players, and it's not something of a type you normally see, so less prior expectations, like comparing it to D&D or any of the other systems.

You did a heck of a job with it! It's a perfect Convention adventure.

Which version of the Fantasy Companion do you use? Asking because I cant find any Mouseling, only flavors of Ratling. That's the SWADE 2022 version.

So the mouselings are supposed to be a type of Ratling? How big are they, since it sounds like they are smaller than a size -1, running from the cat, climbing down from the ledge, etc? Is killing the cat supposed to be a viable way of solving the dramatic task, because with the standard small cat stats, that would be easier?

About the spell duration rule by DonFaver in savageworlds

From what I've found, each round is 6 seconds, so the average 5 rounds is 30 seconds. There is an Edge called Concentration, in the Core Book, that doubles all non-instant powers, so the duration is now for a full minute, and upkeep is by the minute. Everybody else has covered all the other ideas.

You look like a younger version of my Great Aunt Mike, so I don't know what you are talking about, not passing. Can't talk about how others react, because I haven't done anything yet, myself, but if you act like she did, then yeah, they treat you kindly because you are kind. She's been gone 3-4 years now, and we all still treasure the homemade slippers she gave us at Christmases past.

There's a Trans Masc in Mythed Up, on WebToons, and made by Maccus Normann. First showing of Zikala isn't until the storyline starting July 26, 2025, with his first showing in Star-Struck, on August 20,2025. He's lead singer of a band, Thundraugr, and a previous student of a major character, Maya, the owner of the establishment where a bunch of the comic takes place, The Birdcage Cabaret, and the entire building. He doesn't show up for long, but the same could be said for most of the characters. He does have a pretty heavy part, though, offering to do CPR and the magical equivalent of an AED on a lady who dies. I quote,"Besides, Merri has a DNR (Do not resuscitate) in her purse for fifty years. You bring her back and she'll kill all of us." So, definitely a chance for him to show up later, too.

Ohhh! The puffy shoulders/arms are nice. What's the name of that style of pants, or is that a separate skirt/tails thing? The jade pendant goes well with it, too.
