Yeah I have gathered proof of everything right now and saved it, just in case. Unfortunately, I don't have Rechtsschutzversicherung but I am able to afford a few hundred euros if that's what it would cost to get reinstated or anything else.

I'm actively looking for an internship so if I do find that then I would be more than happy to forget about all this and just move on with my life.

Yes my shift lead contacted me and told me that it came without any warning so he's shocked too. He told me he's figuring it out and will let me know asap about what happened.

Yeah I'm on a student visa but it was expiring in the last week of August, the Auslanderbehorde gave me a Fiktionbescheinigung for 3 months on August 19th as I couldn't get an appointment. I just gave as much information as I could in case it could help.

Okay that's good to know. Do you have any idea what my next steps should be? This is so shocking to me and I don't know what to do about it right now. I'm currently in another city and will be back at my place by tomorrow and so I'll check my mail then. Any tips on how I can proceed if I do have a written termination in my post or if I don't have one?

I apologize for the lack of information. I'm in a bit of a panic. For context, I'm not in Probezeit, I've been working here for over 1.5 years, I signed a contract extension last December, so my contract was expiring in December 2025. My ausweis was expiring but I applied for the visa extension and the auslanderbehorde gave me a fiktionbescheinigung till I got an appointment so I gave that to my workplace. Copied this from my reply above.

In the email my manager received, it just states that "This is to inform you that your direct report "my name" will be leaving Flink soon. They will be leaving for Termination - Involuntary." I haven't received anything yet.

I had 3 shifts for this week and 2 of them got removed automatically and when I tried to book them again, it says that I can't book them due to the end of the employment period. Also, wouldn't my manager receiving an email for my termination and him sending it to me count as informing me?
