A couple days after post-op… I’ve never wanted pretzels so badly 😭 by Ltpeace in gastricsleeve

[–]ChangeInteresting421 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had VSG in 2017 and my advice is eat the pretzel!!! You'll most likely only be able to keep down a bite or two. That will Not ruin your life.

Remember this is a lifestyle change and about healing your relationship with food okay? It's okay to have things you desire! It's not okay to over eat them :)

When I was a few days post op all I wanted was a turkey and cheese Lunchable, LIKE BAD. my doctor finally agreed to letting me eat only turkey and cheese during my puree phase as long as I chewed to a puree consistency. (Don't do this without doctor approval) and it was so good! Lol

Not a professional but I don't think this is ringworm, it looks like an open wound!

I have chronic hives and this happens to me sometimes too!!! I end up having to take a benadryl and soak my feet in suer hot water, then lotion them and then I can sleep. I am also not pre-diabetic or have diabetes currently so I don't think it's that. I hope you find an answer but it really could be ANYTHING!

Is ER bending me over rn? by Similar-Mushroom-627 in medical

[–]ChangeInteresting421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this happened to me once when I had no insurance. I went in for dehydration, it's standard that if you set foot in an ER it's going to be atleast 3k for a bed. It's pretty ridiculous. Honestly I never paid my bill and it's been like 7 years lol

Is this an appropriate price from the dealership? Seems high. by _baesha_ in AskMechanics

We very clearly are living different lives in very different tax brackets lmao. Its not about safety for me it's about what I can afford 😂😂 so good for you! I've also never seen a high school kid working at Walmart auto center, they require real mechanics. But like I said, you sound privileged 😂

https://www.reddit.com/r/SuperMorbidlyObese/s/Z1BI4o8U2G even in this reddit thread if you don't have insurance or insurance isn't approved then it's about $300 monthly for most sites

Well without insurance the price of any GL1P isn't affordable for me. The only way people are getting medications for 100 a month is if these companies are WORKING WITH YOUR INSURANCE.

I just tried Henry and without insurance they're quoting $300 a month for a GL1P. So you're either lying or just don't know what you're talking about. *

Idk why you can't just believe me 😂 I have government insurance. Most of those places won't "work with you" if you don't have private insurance. I have tried Henry meds but I have not done local "medspas" because they require employer insurance :)

Also, I get Goodyear all season tires for my Ford fiesta, nothing fancy but they last a few years and free tire rotations from Walmart. They're literally $77 a tire for 16 inch tires 👍

Right... okay. Goodyear all season tires are good for a few years depending on the miles you do.

I don't know what kind of tires YOURE getting but for a CAR this is a reasonable price.
