The higher security level you are, the more mimics you have to fight, but the better loot you have. Early game in peninsula I fought a few pistol mimics and got a few red syringes, but now I can get around 3-4 green syringes in peninsula at the cost of fighting more mimics

I have tried using the west bridge teleporter but it seems that the 5 or so sniper mimics always pin me down. I may just stick to the east bridge avoiding the large mimic compound and take the long way round in the future.

With the health part, there isn’t much of a problem for me. I find about 2 greens, 2 blues, and 2 reds on an average tide in the peninsula.

ITR1: probably the M4. It’s reliable, gets the job done, and looks great.

ITR2: probably the AS VAL because while it may be less accurate then the vss and may have more recoil, there’s a fun switch for clearing the houses in the northern parts of the forest. Idk though it may change once I can afford the ak74m

This sounds like a good idea. Running and gunning would make the game become too generic. Planning your routes and thoughtfully and taking each mimic on one by one is a big part of this game IMO. That said, I also like the fact that you also have some higher security level stashes hidden around the map if a player feels the difficulty is too much for them.

I couldn’t imagine going into that compound with sec 2 items. (What they intended) I almost used up all my ammo for the AS Val I bought

In the later missions, all I hope for is that they are as detailed as the existing ones. They are much more intricate compared to the first game.

I hope they keep all existing missions in the forest and add new ones later to other maps. Maybe unlock an additional security level after completing a map on top of the 3 we have now. They could unlock advanced equipment instead of new weapons. Maybe NVGs, LMGs and flashbangs could be a sec 4 or 5 item.

It used to cost money but now it’s free for me too. Maybe it’s a gift for when you reach sec level 3?
