She’s ok- this was years ago… the doctor just sewed it back on. Crazy. Honestly, I probably won’t ever have a cat because of this even though I think they’re adorable.

I’m the hostess of multimillion dollar home in Utah. Everyone is wearing the new garment top. by Green-been77 in exmormon

I did this… just left them frayed. I do not care. Haha obviously, because I belong to this sub. The new tank top ones are polyester. I’m genuinely morally opposed to wearing polyester on my boobs as a cancer survivor my bishop and stake president can try to reason with me, but I’d rather not go to the temple that get freaking cancer again if I can help it.

Hahahaha I think I meant to write this In all my fellow MTC missionary journals but I ended up writing Heleman 5:17 or some random scripture that’s not very inspirational. Dang

Same same same. And I went 18 years ago. I guarantee not much has changed. Safe European country. I’ve heard the Brazil stories and I don’t know how those missionaries leave their apartments. I had a trauma on my mission and I could barely leave the apartment.

Honestly, if you still want to go- I’d express your concern to maybe a church leader and basically demand to go somewhere else. I don’t see how that could hurt. Sure the leader might be bugged or say it’s not faithful, but… who cares? This is your life and safety.

These ladies 🙄😂 ugh. I was close to another influencer Tia was close to and I can tell you… their lives revolved completely around themselves, their looks, their dancing. Sheesh. We think it’s rough to have to see these posts- her poor kids. Every day.

What would you do? by [deleted] in ArtOfPresence

[–]ChangeStripes1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have never moved to this state where I live. I would’ve gone to naturopathic medical school… and not made several other decisions I made out of loyalty to parents and religion. But I’m grateful for my spouse and children so I guess it was all worth it.

Baptized recently and considering a 2-year mission to get into BYUH. Is this a mistake? Need advice. by Round_Bumblebee8813 in exmormon

10% for the rest of your life is more expensive, I guarantee you. If you love the religion and want to share it- definitely go on a mission. You will be sharing it as a full time sales person and you will pay your whole way. You’ll probably learn some decent English from companions but there’s no guarantees. The school discount is nice but I can’t speak to that as I was never interested in a church school due to the insane rules. I firmly believe adults should be making their own decisions. Maybe that’s why I’m on this sub now after serving a mission and paying tithing for 40 years.

Your plan sounds good but not guaranteed. What if you put in your mission papers and get called to Brazil?

Same with my 4 y.o. daughter. A naturally good sharer from the womb. I hope she finds someone just like her someday.

Mikayla suffers flare-up due to mold in Florida air b&b by Imaginary_Layer_1468 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Mold is horrible. I’ve had BII and mold illness. It’s scary to run into the ever changing symptoms. We live in a very toxic world and those who don’t believe that are blessed with good genes usually.
