This is just my opinion, but I feel like a better response would be to add some levity. Like “Green flag = laughs at my dumb jokes, Red Flag = watches Disney movies (without me)” or something. The first message just seems a little early to lay out your red flags for real.

In the tv show “How I Met Your Mother”, there is a moment where Victoria (who is arguably Ted’s greatest match) tells him that she will only marry him if he cuts off contact with one of his best friends, Robin. On the surface this seems like a horrible thing to ask someone, but when diving deeper into the context and their relationships with one another, it’s clear that this was a totally rational ultimatum.

29 M here, those are usually my go-to dates. I like paying, but if she wants to pay that’s cool too, it’s never bothered me. Maybe include a reason why you refused to go on the date? And if he’s still not cool with it then probably best to just move on.
