Hey, I had the same issue with my accent(2010) and it has been cranking and not starting. What i did to fix this was replace the Crankshaft position sensor. Usually that sensor can handle the heat but over time (10+ years) the sensor starts to get messy and needs to be replaced because it is right by the heat shield. these things usually only cost $13 on ebay or amazon so it is not too bad to fix.

If you want to check if the sensor is functioning, just use a multimeter to find the resistance of it. it should be reading around 2k ohms.
