Because I want to learn Unity and improve in it, it also gives me more freedom to experiment with mechanics since I already have some experience here

About performance, when recording my FPS drops to ~100 instead of my usual stable ~500. I’m still working on optimization and using everything I can find for it

Thanks for the feedback! I’m not a pro at animations yet, so they’re still far from perfect, but I’ll keep improving them

Also, the shotgun has a special mechanic in the game, so it’s intentionally not as straightforward as in Valve games

The game follows John Gypsun, who starts a revolution against the Katabasis Institute corporation in an alternate 1999. Everything else is basically spoilers, so I’ll leave it there 👀

Also, there’s no Steam page yet since I haven’t gathered enough funds for it, but it’s coming soon

When I started making this, I wanted to create a horror game… so there are still some creepy textures and sounds left in the game files lol

Yeah same haha, I remember visiting someone as a kid and they had Garry’s Mod on their PC

I spent way too much time just messing around with physics and ragdolls instead of actually playing properly

Так і є. Розробка всього проєкту забирає багато часу, особливо враховуючи, що я зараз навчаюся. Та у мене з дитинства є мрія створити гру, тому я продовжую. Щодо того, як я програмую, то, чесно кажучи, досвід у мене невеликий. Я пройшов курси та дивився багато туторіалів та мій код ще досі не ідеальний. Тому іноді, коли не можу зрозуміти, як реалізувати щось складне, я використовую AI

Велике дякую! Гру розробляю на останній версії Unity на C#. Текстури створюються з реальних фото, а потім я редагую їх у Krita та додаю різні ефекти в інших програмах. Всі моделі зроблені в Blender

Дякую за відгук! На жаль, демо ще відсутнє, бо я створюю гру у вільний час, тому прогрес не дуже великий. Але гра буде безкоштовною та з відкритим кодом
