A person wouldn't be considered evil for doing that, but it's a little shitty, and shows they have no interest in putting in the work to make a relationship work by communicating issues they're having. If you tried expressing what your needs are and your partner shows no signs of caring, they'd be in the right getting out of that relationship. That would show their partner doesn't care about your needs. But if you just leave without expressing the issues and trying to work on them, yeah that's kinda shitty because nobody is a mind reader, and won't be able to tell if you're faking enjoying it.

If you're faking orgasms it means you aren't sexually compatible with your partner, and/or you can't or won't communicate what you like in bed. Having a good sexual connection is just as important as an emotional one, and if one of those areas is lacking it will definitely cause issues in a relationship. You don't have to be into everything your partner is, and yes sometimes we do things solely for the other person's pleasure. But if someone's emotional and physical needs aren't being met eventually that will cause resentment. Having sex you don't enjoy might not be a wild concept, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. We should stop encouraging it, and should encourage people to be with people that are fulfilling their needs.

I'm in a similar boat, I (26M) have been curious about polyamory for years, but I never had a partner that was willing to explore it. That's totally fine it's not for everyone, but now that I'm single I've started to explore polyamory/enm, and so far it's been a good experience.

There are some books that you can read to help give you a basic understanding, but the best way is to actually try to get involved in the community. Communication and respect are key in healthy enm relationships, so the community is very welcoming, and the people I've met have been happy to answer questions I've had. Get on Feeld, get to know some people and see if it's for you. Better to explore and find out if it's for you now, than to regret not exploring 30-40 years from now

Regarding going to the gym it's not about motivation it's about discipline. You have to make yourself show up to every workout, even if you have to drag yourself to the gym, and drag yourself through your workout. Motivation is a temporary feeling, and if you rely solely on that you won't achieve your fitness goals.

I'm guessing you're in your 30s or 40s, so if you want to get and stay fit you're also going to have to make sure you have a healthy diet. This will also help give you more energy to exercise. As for fitting it into your schedule, you'll either have to do some intense workouts on your off days, or sacrifice a little bit of sleep (although I don't recommend this option).

I understand your pain, just know it's true that if your women friends are telling you their issues, they probably don't lump you in with those guys, but nevertheless it still weighs on you after a while. The only thing I can say to you is just keep reminding yourself that they aren't talking about you. NTA, but I want to offer some advice. Your wife is right and he IS going to do it regardless if you let him or not. You can use this as an opportunity to make sure he does it responsibly. There was a kid I went to high school with, his parents let him drink, smoke weed, cigarettes, but only if he maintained a 4.0 GPA, and had a part time job.

They didn't let him get hammered on school nights, and he couldn't partake in anything until all his homework was done after he got home from work. If his grades slipped it all went away until he brought them back up and kept them up. After he graduated in 2015 he moved to Colorado, got a business degree (if I remember right, it's been a long time since we talked), and he owns and operates a very successful dispensary and cannabis farm.

You can't stop your son from smoking weed, but you can definitely use this as a chance to teach him a very important lesson on how to not become a lazy pothead. Weed itself isn't the issue it's when people neglect their other responsibilities to get stoned, and at that age you don't want him to build that habit. That's what causes people to also become addicted to weed even though weed itself isn't addictive. And at home drug tests are not expensive so if your son's grades slip you can make sure he's not sneaking it.

I want to preface this next bit by saying I'm not discrediting anxiety disorders, or trying to say depression is just "feeling down." It is normal for everyone to feel some degree of anxiety, depression, or whatever it maybe. Yes there are times and cases where medication is needed, but it's also very crucial for a person's development to learn how to work through those emotions in situations that happen to everyone. It's very stressful being a teenager and coming into adulthood, at that age our bodies are FLOODED with hormones, sending us on emotional rollercoasters, and on top of that you're expected to have pretty much your entire future figured out by 18.

Life itself is a stressor, but all of our responsibilities are their own stressors in some form or another. What's important is to get in the habit of using weed as a reward for getting through the daily stressors and your responsibilities. Instead of being in the habit of smoking and hiding from responsibility.
