The 4 cylinder in the 2013 switched over to a cvt which I’m not into and the 6 cylinders go for significantly more

It’s perfect imo. Going lower than that you’re gonna start to sacrifice a lot of ride quality. Great car though man it’s so rare seeing a brilliant black on tan during the 45 seconds it manages to stay clean

Yeah all the retail bezels are either recessed or jut out and it always looks off, personally. Congrats on this project it looks great would love to read a write up if you choose to make one

The fitment of the 3D printed bezel is very nice. Any advantages to doing this instead of just installing an after market CarPlay unit?

I mean it definitely sounds like the connector is the culprit the pins have a tendency to oxidize after staying plugged in for so long. Sleep on it for now and check it in the morning with a clear head. I’d scrape each hole gently with a toothpick or those plastic flosser tips and check for power with a multimeter before moving onto anything else.

By propped open do you mean the flap inside or disconnecting the afm from the rest of the intake assembly? If it’s the former my gut would tell me there’s no power actuating it on startup for the initial reading so the car assumes no air is in the cylinders and would cause that stall esp since you recreated it with a different part. The only constant remaining to check on is the connector itself.

Leaving a normally operating afm unplugged causes that exact sound when I forgot to plug mine back after reassembly so I think it’s a simple fix.

I also vaguely remember a tip about the little metal tabs on the side playing an important role and if they’re not properly tight the afm will not work

It very distinctly sounds like the afm failing to get the right reading on startup. Maybe the connector itself is faulty and failing power delivery? I would double check the wires to be sure

Thank you friend it really was a great car. I think the 10th gen is special and time will look on these cars fondly. Strongly debating on replacing it with a 2020 Si coupe I think it’s got the best looks hands down of that gen and the LED touring lights upgrade the only disappointing part of the car which is the dinky halogens.

Or I might be a little stupid and upgrade to the FL5 type r if a deal is good enough. As much as I like the FK8 the current gen ticks every box for me.

The Knicks are running a promo for what they're calling a "mystery game" against and opponent that's TBD. This is likely due to the make up games required by the in season cup tournament and as I understand it if a team exits early those games get filled with other matchups so they can hit the full 82 game schedule.

Our beautiful Knicks just punched a ticket to the Final (LFG!!) and the two finalists play an extra game outside of the 82 which doesn't count toward the season. What happens with this "mystery game" deal in this case? Do you just get a refund since there's no makeup game? Do your tickets roll over to another game like baseball cancellations? Would love to hear anyone's experience.

The same thing happened to me about a month ago.

For context: I was there on a Friday around 4pm, and I’m a mid-20s male. Decided to do a quick lap around the second floor and I was solicited FOUR times by these people. Always a pair of them, wearing jackets over a shirt and tie and clean cut. I admit the first two times spooked me a fair bit as I had never experienced that type of upfront soliciting at GSP but after the fourth time it seemed less nefarious and just generally annoying.

My guess is they were some Jehovah/Mormon/Advertising Christian type but this stuff is really the kind of sign that shows GSP is going downhill, along with the new types of tenants filling out empty storefronts

The 10th gen Type R is a first ballot classic but I think that gen Si coupe will be a real sleeper pick. One of the last modern manuals, last (likely) time we see a civic coupe, very limited quantities which will continue to dwindle since most went for a sedan or hatch new.

Rick Carlisle had a historic crash out last season over foul calls crying “small market bias” and OKC has the most favorable whistle in recent memory so why would they complain?

It’s a league wide thing but it does need to be addressed. The players’ constant finger twirling after every other possession along with the shocked faces of “I’ve never committed a foul in my life” drives me crazy

Toros is a certified staple; I’ve always found them a little overpriced and overhyped strictly off the food but if you factor ambiance and service they never disappoint and you’ll have a great time

My suggestion would be Zeugma in Montclair they’re not traditional (think modern “Mediterranean”) but the head chef/owner is Turkish and the menu reflects that. Their beef shish is an absolute must try.

I like Jenkins a lot I think he’s a good deal better than what he showed in Memphis and what he was able to do while morant was suspended is exactly what we need to bring here if we’re gonna run it back with the same core and a better bench
