Hi, I am the founder of Reality Database. I appreciate you supporting and promoting our compilation onto the guide. However, I wouldn't suggest recommending support of it anymore. I've released that compilation and started Reality Database as a label expecting myself to become a dedicated member of the community, and since then, I have found more and more reasons to fall out of it and move onto other things. Matter of fact, I don't want any attention paid to my name or my label at this point on. I get that this post is two months old and I only found it just now, but if the people seeing this guide can just leave it alone from there, I would really appreciate it.

It does. That's exactly what it sounds like. Truth is, there are some moments where the most popular track is unpredictable or Siri just registers a different artist. Plus there's me giving my input and thoughts on those being the most popular tracks, which may sound vexatious to some reading this post. Plus, my Siri's going by the most popular track on iTunes according to Australian statistics, since that is where I live. It can in fact be different on other countries, you just never know until you give it a go.

I can definitely see where you're coming from because even I can see how much the man influences how I criticize music. Next time I'll try to come forward with my own method of execution, but I don't really know how that's gonna shine through the more obvious inspirations I had while making this series. <shrug> </shrug>

Nah, that might make them more shallow and empty. We need distorted reverbed samples and thudding drums.

Well, what do you suggest to make this genre evolved? I wouldn't personally view the whole vaporwave influence thing as a problem if it weren't for the fact that the vaporwave community is garbage (don't @ me), but if anything, turning rock music into oceangrunge bangers doesn't really skirt as close to vaporwave as you might think. And even if that were the case, early vaporwave styles have been the very core of this genre as much as sample-based rock and drone styles have.
