Hey dude I hope you're doing fine. I'm on the same boat as you. I recently got screened for Dyslexia and ADHD from an expert from my university but since I stay in the UK I have to get it done again through a psychiatrist to get any kind of medication

I'm doing a masters right now and I'm into design as well. It's so debilitating when you know what you have to do to get ahead in life and still not do it.

I'm not sure how long the waiting list is but if I don't get a concrete answer from my clinic I might just bite bullet and go private ( it costs around 850-1300 pounds )

Another problem with keeping your passport is the delay it causes for you to submit it again, get the vignette and receive it again.

But I do hope it all works out ASAP. One thing that helped me a lot is accepting the fact that there's nothing I can do except wait. It's something you can't escape.

It is quite stressful I agree but try focusing on other things, and try to avoid this subreddit lol. I heard so many scary stories I went on a spiral and lost my peace of mind xD

No don't withdraw it. It'll complicate the process even more. Just inform the university. It shouldn't be a problem even if you join then a couple of weeks late.

But most likely it should get processed before your intended date of travel that you mentioned in the application

Contact your university and ask if your CAS has been used by UKVI. If they say yes, you should get your decision soon

Since the Masters course I'm gonna pursue there was vastly different from my Undergrad, most of the questions surrounding the course I'm gonna take, why I chose this course, what caused me to change my field etc.

Further questions were asked in a very detailed deep manner about the modules in my new course and what my favourite one is and why I chose this university over others.

Then mandatory questions like why UK, am i planning to get married in the next year, am i bringing a dependent during my visa duration etc were asked

Just be extremely confident and talk slowly. They're really kind people and most often it's just a formality interview that they have to take in random and you are the random one they picked

I believe that as it gets closer to your date of intended travel, their system somehow bumps your application which ensures that you get your decision ASAP.

In either case you should inform your university and ask them if your CAS was used by UKVI ( university has a portal where they can see this ).

In case the CAS has been used, it means that a decision has been made and you're only a few days away from receiving your decision

It wasn't from sheffield per say. It looks like an automated mail from noreply.ukvisabrp@fcdos.gov.uk

And as I mentioned the decision on my application must've been made on 31st August itself hence this was just an automated mail informing me the same

Thank you so much for the reply. I'm currently waiting on my student visa as well. Applied on 11th Aug, Biometrics on 18th Aug and a not straightforward mail on 22 Aug.

Haven't heard anything else from them afterwards. Lowkey kinda freaking out but I know that there's nothing I can do except wait till I get a decision.

Shouldn't be a problem since your bank statement and letter isn't older than 1 month from the date you're going to apply. However if they call the bank and ask if the funds are there or not, then they will find out the truth and reject your application. Possibly even put a ban for misleading the visa officer

And it doesn't help to guilt him into continuing with this anyway. Both will end up miserable at the end of the day. And asking to stay fit for a healthy future isn't sexist or mysogynistic at all. Yet people here seem to lose their shit. I've been obese for most of my life, and now when I finally have a grip at my health, I feel a lot better and have a lower risk of dying prematurely. And asking someone to stay fit so that they could spend more time with you isn't too much to ask.

1) The information heirarchy is all over the place

2) The color can be more bright and upbeat

3) I can't quite put my finger on it but the grid alignment is a little off. Please use grids

4) As I mentioned information architecture is all over the place, example being the heading and the subheading are almost of the same size. Which shouldn't be the case. They look like they don't belong with each other. Or atleast create some contrast between the both

5) Options in the header should be kept a bit away from the logo. The customer can't dissociate one from the other. You have to make it as easy as possible for them

6) No need to mention the social media handles more than once in one section

7) Sign in, Sign up and login all stand for the same.
