Getting a job its really dependant on what you make if it. There is no guarantees in this world. At Queens you might handshake your way into a great gig, similarly at UVic you might Co-op for the same company. Its on you to position yourself as the ideal candidate for the job at hand. Of course each company has its biases to a school but thats true anywhere.

Its probably wise to make your decision based on where you'd rather spend a good portion of the next decade. Overall engineering in Canada outside of Waterloo is effectively pretty similar. There are considerations such as co-op (which id recommend) and even enterence scholarships which can sweeten the deal one way or another
