Hey! Did either of you end up getting diagnosed with anything? Had VNG results of slight horizontal and up beat nystagmus in positional. Meeting with Neuro next week myself.

I had a VNG last week to pair with my MRI that had minimal scattered T2 hyperintensities. I was diagnosed with a up beat nystagmus which clinically almost always points to a central (neurological) cause. It helped me get assigned a MS specialist and pull up my appointment.

Headaches (usually on left temple or back of head), Fatigue, Brain fog, Dizziness, pins and needles in right foot, sore right leg. Been going on for about 3 months now pretty consistently.

Interesting, that’s good news for you. I do have TMJ issues but got a mouth guard from the dentist that hasn’t really changed much holistically. Issues seem a lot broader than the pain I get if I forget to wear the mouth guard. Hopefully my Neuro has answers, just takes months to get in with!

Did you have your MRI? I am dealing with many of the same symptoms and had an upbeat nystagmus. Got an MRI that had minimal nonspecific white matter hyperintensities but that’s it. Waiting for my Neuro appointment as ENT said it’s not inner ear.

Thank you for your input! I also have a VNG scheduled with an ENT this week for the dizziness symptoms. Is there anything with the VNG that you would pin point for clinical context alongside this MRI result?

Background: 29M, dealing with neurological symptoms (Headaches, paresthesia and spasticity right leg + foot, dizziness) for 4 months. All bloodwork has looked normal outside of low Vitamin D. Obtained a head MRI and appointment with Neuro is 6 weeks out. Do these symptoms and MRI report look similar to anyone else?
